NBR is dead and now laptopforum too?

It appeared to be a one man operation, even on this platform the amount of work/decisions to be made was a bit daunting and we still have much to do.

One man operation on open source vanilla forum? I dont think it would have served the community well with the time restriction of 10 days.

Yeah tried today no luck, honestly that place was dead and if you noticed the admin hadnt visited in I think a week or more. The adult and sales oriented topics were still there even after complaints. These guys here have done a great job they are engaged and care so looks like the best site won. No major bugs and it also works well on mobile.

I was a little surprised that spartan threw in the towel even with the godaddy mistake, but I didnt have to do all that work either. I hope he signs up here.

Not surprised given the lack of maintenance happening over there.

This does simplify things and allow the community to reunite under one roof. efgxt.net--soon to be NotebookTalk.net--is now the definitive successor to NBR. Hopefully everyone who didn't come in the initial wave will join us now.

Im glad i got my wish that the NBR community will no longer be split into 3 different forums and hopefully they'll join here so we can all be in one place!.
