Oxidez
Hello everyone. I have registered to this forum , because after hours of researching is the only i could find, for the CLEVO brand laptops. I have myself too a CLEVO PD70SNE-G 17,3 inch laptop , that i have bought in July 2023. Everything worked well for about a year, but since almost 2 weeks, my laptop died, after i start feeling a burned smell coming from my laptop. I have try to contact the seller (clevo-computer.com) , but no reaction from them. I have a warranty of 2 years for my laptop, so they should take care of that, but after several messages sent by the form on the seller website, still no answer. So i am looking forward around here if anyone could have an advice about what i can do, since myself i am from France and the seller is based in Germany. Apparently they have a company registered there, under the name GOLDEN STAR COMPUTERS, but on internet they got also the clevo-computer.com. If anyone around here been already in a similar situation and could give some advice, i really appreciate. I have no idea what is the law in Germany or even where i could make a complain against this seller, for the non respect of the warranty. Best regards and thanks in advance for any help. Oxidez
Hello jaybee83 and thank you for your reply. Yes, i have try several times until now, by sending messages via the online form for warranty on their website and also multiple phone calls. First time when i have sent message, i got an answer from someone , telling me that they will get back to me next day. Also i have talk on the phone with the same person, i guess, and he was the one that told me to send them message with detailed information's about my problem and the serial number of my laptop. That was on 09/10/2024, 2 weeks ago. Since then, nobody answers on the phone or the messages i have sent again via the website or by mail. For me that is lack of respect for customers. I did not buy a 500€ laptop, we are talking about what was last year, top of the line. More then 2000€. Right now i do not see what i can do to solve this problem, beside starting an endless procedure with the justice. Repairing the laptop in my country, France, is a difficult task. Especially that is still in warranty. Best regards.
