6730b
So, obviously sometimes not as awake as one should be 😠Left my trusted old Samsung Note 10 Lite in an inner pocket in the wash. No external damage (wallet cover). 1,5 hour double wash, hot water, soap, banging around, centrifugation, did not like that. At all. Split it open, dried for ages with hot air, everything good and dry, but no start\screen\charging or even heat after 2 days. Nothing. Maybe contact\physical damage on top of water. No practical problem, a recent backup + sim went straight to a spare Samsung. But that Note was a great 'friend' for 4+ years, and could still have lasted for a good while. Morale, turn on one's head first, thereafter any kind of machine.  Dell Precision 5540 w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), HP i5 desktop w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), Dell E7440 w8.1, Tosh w8.1. 6730b
Deemed beyond fix, no screen, no charge, no heat, no vibration. Nothing. Motherboard shorted, chip failure etc ? But gave the opportunity to learn a little about dismantling, can be of use in any future work (f.ex. battery swaps). 6730b
^^^ Yes. And, strangely, off when I took it out. But very happy about not posting something like "How do I save 9 years of irreplaceable family photos \ messages \ important documents from my completely dead pbone" lol+++ Remember to always have fresh backups available, things can (and will) happen! 1 Dell Precision 5540 w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), HP i5 desktop w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), Dell E7440 w8.1, Tosh w8.1. TreeTopsRanch
6730b..none of my friends ever backup their phones. Good advice to do that but who does?
nforce4max
Supposedly a lot of popular detergents contain salt so that would have been more than enough to kill it so long there was any charge in the battery. Tried washing the board by hand in distilled water or under the tap then dry with forced air by chance?

We have our important stuff backed up to onedrive automatically. Text messages etc, I don't really care about, but documents, photos etc are all on onedrive. I tell everyone at work when they purchase a phone to do some sort of back up. How many people have I seen extremely upset because their phone craped the bed and they lost everything. 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses
