kojack
I was having alot of laggy system issues with youtube and my outlook opening like 2 mins after starting it. Did some research. On edge, there is a setting that allows hardware acceleration. That is on by default and caused websites, videos etc to lag, stutter etc. I turned of that hardware acceleration in the Edge browser and everything is as smooth as my linux system now. Happy again. I thought it was something I was going to have to live with, but it fixed and I am happy. For the outlook program taking ages to load. That was fixed by a software update and repair. It's all super fast again now. thankfully! 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses
kojack
Update. The "repair" to outlook lasted 1 day. I had to run repair again this morning. No wonder I am ditching windows and moving to linux. There will be a few growing pains I am sure, but this crap is ridiculous. Microsoft is not even hiding the fact they sell your data to places like McAfee even if you don't have it installed on your system, let alone various 3rd party "companies". NO THANKS MS. GFY! Papusan
And Microsoft know their latest and greatest is an laggy/sluggy experience. The new OS is filled with gabage. This can't be fixed on HW level @Mr. Fox Win 11 OS is specifically optimized for ARM PCs. Nice. And Microsoft forgot that 99% of all computers don't run on ARM. Get rid of everything the vast majority of the technically savvy users of your trash OS has said that they do not like in the next update. Stop listening to your Kool-Aid drinking Insider idiots and start watching all of the YouTube videos showing how to fix your screwed up messes. Stop trying to force people into using things they do not want to use. (i.e. Secure Boot and TPM, arbitrary CPU requirements, blah, blah, blah). Stop trying to control what hardware people use. Get rid of your malware, telemetry, Copilot and general overall disgusting aesthetics. Go back to a legit Start menu like Windows 7 and stop acting like everyone that uses your trashy OS is a child or a technical ignoramus. Pull your head out of your corporate rectum and actually do something right... if you can even remember how. Stop treating the users of your products and your employees like crap. @Papusan Jensen Huang and Satya Nadella need to be given a one-way ticket to Gitmo. 1 Master // AORUS X870E Master | 9950X | 4090 Suprim | 48GB DDR5-8200 | GF3 1650W | Triple 360 Loop | Hailea HC-500A || O11D XL EVO (T-Rex) Blaster // STRIX X870E-E Gaming WiFi | 9950X | RX 9070 XT Elite | 48GB DDR5-8000 | GF A3 1200W | Dual 360 Loop || O11D XL EVO (Rhinoceros) Meh!! // Precision 7720 | BGA CPU Filth | Quadro P5000 | 4K Display | $500 Refurb | Nothing to Write Home About (Turdbook) Mr. Fox YouTube Channel | Mr. Fox @ HWBOT The average response time for a 911 call is 10 minutes.
