joeyXD1123
I have an oldish chromebook. Im not too sure how to find the model number since there are multiple ways ive seen after looking online, but im pretty sure I have a "3110 2in1" dell chromebook as it says that in the bottom. This is a school issued chromebook, and im graduating middle school a few weeks. Ive had some old photos on my chromebook that were stored locally, but about 7 months to a year ago, I permanently deleted them, and would like to know if there was any way to get them back? After looking online some people said it could be possible using linux, some said it wasnt possible at all, due to chromebooks not having a system like windows to recover permanently deleted files. Id like to know, is it a 100% guarentee that they are gone forever?

Given the nature of the small SSD and it being solid storage based rather than a hard drive (where you can get magnetic echoes and have space that may never have been overwritten) I think it's unlilkely you would get anything back.
