Kedoz
About a year ago, I got a Clevo P750DM2 / Sager NP9152. Almost immediately, I discovered that the latest NVIDIA drivers don’t work properly. When I install them, the laptop’s built-in screen goes black, and I can only get a display using an external monitor. The system indicates that the internal screen is disabled and won’t allow me to enable it. The only driver that works is version 30.0.14 from 2021 and older. I’ve searched extensively, but this laptop remains a mystery to me. I’m unsure if the issue is related to an outdated BIOS (I don’t know how to update it on this machine) or something else entirely. The laptop functions fine otherwise, but this issue is a major frustration. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any insights? The graphics card is the 1070 with the 7700k. Thanks! ShifflyTheSHO
Hey! Rare find to see one of us in here, but I’ve got the P750DM3!!! I had the same hardware, but went 9900KF and then 3080 16GB. I’ve only ever needed custom installer done for the 3080, but I forgot what I did… I want to say I’ve only used Desktop drivers instead of Notebook? I don’t think I’ve ever done Notebook tbh. and search for the dsanke bios mod!
