Hi, since I have an older Alienware 18 I wanted to sell, I just wanted to make sure that the heatsink works properly, as you can see the heatsink does't cover the entire chip I highlighted in the picture, it that okay? The chip should be still cooled off properly right? (I will put thermal pads on all the chips of the GPU)

I believe those 75watt heatsinks have 2 heatpipes and 100watt equivalents have 3 heatpipes.

 

So maybe they will fit the GPU, but cooling will be a problem
