Yeah its working fine on windows 10.  Been playing games for last 2 hours no problem.

anyone have suggestions on any settings that I should change in invidia control panel?  It seems to be offloading some work to the intel internal gpu, which cant be very good.

Yes, EBAY of all places.  You will see that same green card on ebay!  I entertained getting it myself but with all the storage I already have and am NOT using, I thought it was overkill.  But go to ebay and look up "mxm to nvme" and it will come up

So are you going to go back to Windows 11?

Also, I am not stable at 4.5ghz, I think I am just at 4.2ghz, any suggestions on settings?  Are you doing anything with your RAM speeds?

I don't know. Still problem is with "Shadow of the Tomb Rider". After I used DDU on Win11 Tomb Rider crashed. Now on clean Win10 still the same, and still code 31 on Device Meneger / Software devices/ Nvidia platform controllers and framework.

I had the same.

Your RTX3000 now is named 3D Video Controller.

What you need to do:

Download file nv_dispwi.inf - I uploaded it few post earlier.

Click right button on It and click install on menu.

After "Driver was installed succesfull" go to the Device Meneger and click on 3D Video Display.

Click update driver and use update nanualy from driver installed in system.

Click Graphic Card after that Nvidia after that Quadro RTX3000.

Will be information that this driver can be not correct for this device but click update.

Now your 3D Video display will be RTX3000.

Also Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in advanced start-up

Yeah I did all that and my

kid played Fortnite for 2 hours straight with no crashing.  So I feel confident I’m stable on win 10 with the previously defined steps to getting the RTX 3000 to work.

Sorry I've been busy, let me make some suggestions here..

Windows 11 works fine BUT you must turn off gpu hardware scheduling or you will get BSODs (located in windows settings app).

Instead of wasting time manually editing the INF, use nvcleaninstall to make the driver. It works perfectly and is easy to use. You can use the latest drivers no problem.

It's changed nothing. Still the same behavior. When I started some game is like a wheel of fortune. Sometimes start and is playable, sometimes crashed, sometimes BSOD or OrangeSOD 🙂

But if Cyberpunk 2077 started... I play with Raytraceing on middle with 55fps. Looks great but... I started 35 times and played 2 times 😞

The same with Shadow of The Tomb Rider and other.

why does your processor frequency jump so much??

and do you have vertical sync enabled in the NVIDIA control panel or maybe limit the maximum frame rate to 60?
Why is your result so not high and the fps is exactly 60 fps?

I changed vsync to off but only 1 time had normal fps and CU flat line.

I think you need to disable Vsync or set "use 3D application settings" in NVIDIA control panel. and your result is the same, since you have 60 fps maximum due to the 60 Hz screen if vertical sync is always enabled. when you turn off vertical sync, fps will be able to reach the maximum.

For gaming and general regular use, it is better to enable vertical sync everywhere, as it will give a smooth image and less load on the video card and processor if your laptop can produce more than 60 fps in a particular game. but the test will show the results below as you can see.

I tried all settings. Always off, depend of app request, fast. This benchmark always cut to 59.9 FPS and play with CPU. I turned of GPU Tweek, disabled overclocking. Still the same with FPS and CPU. Only once I had more FPS and CPU line was flat.

Don't know why.

Expeditions Mud Runner and Metro Exodus if I disabled vsync give me more than 60 FPS.

Because I cant leave well enough alone... lol... I did a fresh install of windows 11 (previously was on Win10), and I cant seem to get my system to agree that my RTX 3000 is fine.

image.thumb.png.afba4d27aa4958113c5616fa11198fdf.pngHow do I fix this?  Previously it had no drivers and was being called some "3D video" or something, so I did the old method on here of taking that .inf file and dropping it in the NVIDIA install directory while installing the newest drivers.  I thought it was fine, until I see that explanation point next to the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 adapter.

If you are feeling generous, also share how I can fix some of the 'Other devices' section which show issues too?
