Best mod i can get for the pc specialist octane laptop?

I have an octane 2 pc specialist laptop that i want to upgrade because the gpu is failling

Specs

•980m 8gb mxm b(failing)

•i5 6600k

•32gb ddr4 2133mh

•1 tb samgsung 850 evo(failing)

•P751DM mobo

•15.6 inch screen

•battery(fucked)

I am mainly trying to replace the gpu, cpu, screen and ram.

I know that the i7 7700k is the best cpu i can easily get but i was wondering if their any mods for my mobo that could allow a better cpu

Hello I do have an RTX 4070 MXM with the backlight mod if you're interested to upgrade from your failing 980M.

 

This card worked on my P775TM1, P870DM-G and Dell Precision M4800.

 

You could also upgrade to an i7 8700K 6C or to a Xeon E-2286M 8C mutant CPU by modding the BIOS and blocking some pads on the CPU.
