  1. It's not even available yet. Unknown ETA and it'll be more expensive than the A5500 for sure
  2. That's an early ZRT card as you can see on the sticker. I mean they all look the same to be honest.
  3. As long as the GPU supports LVDS output and the VBIOS is compatible with the laptop's SMBus then yes. You should get a 970M or 980M that's not a G-SYNC version and support LVDS screens. Try to find the Dell variants of these cards, they were available for Alienware 17 R1 and 18 R1. MSI could work but need to check the SMBus compatibility. If you're still confused, you can check the nbrchive website and see if anyone used a MSI card on the M15X. You can always flash with CH341A and test many VBIOS into the Dell/MSI 970M and find the one that works great. I do recommend the 6GB version of this card if you can find it for 10€ more
  4. News about RTX 5070 TI, 5080 and 5090 MXM cards from X-VSION: DP/DP/HDMI/eDP support!! I'll sell my 4090 maybe to get the 5090 xD 4G decode support no idea.
  5. News again: Can I pay them for a custom Vbios then? => NO They strictly prohibit it, so any changes to the information can only be recorded on their server. Anyone who makes unauthorized changes will be dismissed Someone in the market offered $3 million to change the 5090 BIOS, but no one dared to do it News about RTX 5070 TI, 5080 and 5090 MXM cards from X-VSION: DP/DP/HDMI/eDP support!! I'll sell my 4090 maybe to get the 5090 xD 4G decode support no idea.
  6. News. X-Vsion response: They does not support making MXM specifications, so it will not assist in making signatures What??? So they know SOMEONE but can't do it because of "MXM specifications"? Makes no sense. It's just a DCB edit... I told them why the 4060/4070 have eDP on D but not the 4080/4090? I even told them to make the DP_B a basic DP output so it'll fix the issue.
  7. Yes, would recommend 240W.
  8. That's news for me. If we could just get basic DP for B and D, it'll be good for us still. Because basic DP works on eDP screens as I tested with many laptops and with many Ampere cards from X-VSION. I thought they were still doing eDP on DP_D... The Clevo P870, X170 and HP ZBook G6 are using DP_D for eDP too...
  9. Now I understand why ZRT were ignoring me, their datasheet were fake lol... ZRT 4080/4090 had the same "display tables" as the RTX 4050/4060/4070 but that's not true. So I wasted like 8 months for nothing lol. If X-VSION can find someone who can sign your modded VBIOS it's so good. It'll fix everything and I'll donate you 40€ if they do it.
  10. 4050-4070 is the best card for DCB. Works with DP_A/DP_B/DP_C/DP_D. M4800, M6800, 7720, P870, all the outputs worked! With the backlight mod v1/v2 The ampere ones are fine but DP_B is HDMI and not DP...
  11. Like this. Couldn't get a better video atm because I'm not home. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pc26yv-KfplCYKkyqWoC8NvCF2inLdIQ/view Did you buy it yet? If so, I can tell you where to buy a custom heatsink + the backlight mod v2 pack
  12. Because there's the DCB virtual table and then there is also a connector table that details the interfaces. Did you edit them as well? That's what JadeRover told me in order to edit every DP_ outputs. I hope to sell all of my backlight mod v2 because it works on my M17X R4 with the A5500 and RTX 4070 in pure UEFI
  13. You changed everything related to DCB correct? Then it'll be easier for them. I told them how you did the vbios mod (4070 DCB to 4090 DCB) if they can't sign yours.
  14. Alright. I told X-VSION to sign your modded VBIOSes. I am sure they have a contact since they are a big company manufacturing lots of embedded GPUs.
  15. The VBIOS comes from a Clevo X370SN. You sure the eDP is not in D? Then this is so strange. What's that Asus VBIOS? Same DCB? Same GPUID?
  16. @ssj92 Got it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xt0R8L33k5xgRKVUs2Kbt54Da6Ra5Kf_/view?usp=drivesdk This is the early version of the 4090 VBIOS. Could you tell us if the DCB is different than the latest 4090 VBIOS? VBIOS version number? Can't check because I have no computers there, can only be available in 4-5 days 😞Thanks
  17. Jason from X-Vsion told me something interesting. Their early version of the 4080 and 4090 (black PCB with some capacitors on the X-bracket way) have full eDP support on D. It used some Clevo VBIOS that I can't find. @janepahas the Black PCB version.
  18. @MELOCODI @SOYOON Hello. If you're still interested. It works, you can get them now. I made separate thread for the v2. Pictures and a video are available. M4800 and M6800 were the first subjects and the backlight + pwm control works.
  19. The main difference between X-VSION and ZRT 4080/4090 is the VBIOS location. X-Vsion is on the back side meanwhile the ZRT one is on the front. Not practical for XVSION as you need to remove the entire MXM from the slot to backup your VBIOS. There are some other differences but it's like different locations of each components near the MXM pins. GPU die, VRAM chips and coils are the same.
  20. https://pdf.directindustry.com/viewerCatalog/zrt-technology/mm4080b6-12g/4598281-1085225.html#open I could only find this. It's the same design and board as the ZRT 4090 (MM4090B6-16G) It's like X-VSION 4080 and 4090. Same PCB, same VBIOS DCB. I have the XVSION 4090 datasheet but it's on another device that I can't access at the moment. Might upload the XVSION one in 7 days.
  21. It's a like it's not eDP on D. I tested and I had the same results as on the XVSION VBIOS. ZRT is like a MAX-Q version of the XVSION one. ssj92 said that these vbios indeed use eDP on B which isn't usual. ssj92 made a vbios mod that you should try
  22. Jason from X-Vsion. Helen doesn't answer to emails anymore. Jason gave me more informations than Helen did in a 1 year...
  23. Thanks. But What, so their datasheets were right??? It said eDP on B I was like no way... I have the datasheet of the RTX 4060 and it says eDP on D. I don't have them with me right now. X-Vsion answers about DP_D issue: We encountered a factory with H610 motherboards that had this phenomenon, but later the BIOS PCIE was set to ASMP Disabled and they could be used MSI B760M-P open UEFI and CSM OK Z690 no Asrock B550 open UEFI and CSM OK ASUS H610 Some models work, some models don't I also sent them your Google drive link so they can test it and maybe... Find someone to certificate them?
  24. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R3nI6MCZWSWPsn-z6ZA1wsgKKMFry6e2/view?usp=drivesdk here's a reupload
  25. A video on how the PWM module controls the brightness (video quality is low) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pc26yv-KfplCYKkyqWoC8NvCF2inLdIQ/view
