Here is my very old vBIOS mod project from a dead forum. I think these mods can be still useful even today.

Quadro cards usually come underclocked and don't use their full power, but my solution can change such a situation. The main goal of this project is to get maximum stable performance from this professional oriented beasts.

Previous builds:

Flashing instruction:
If you are going to flash under DOS use this:

nvflash -6 bios.rom

If you are going to flash under Windows use this tool with easy-to-use .bat files.

!!!Before flashing, backup your original vBIOS and create bootable recovery usb drive!!!

!!!Warning!!! Unlike on gaming machines, using vBIOS with TDP more than 100W on workstations may cause CPU to power throttling on heavy GPU+CPU loads. To remove the limitations try doing the following:

Spoiler
  1. Go to the system BIOS settings and switch off Intel SpeedStep feature.
  2. Download the latest ThrottleStop from TechpowerUP website.
  3. Start it, be sure to check the first 3 boxes and "SpeedStep" box. Uncheck "BD PROCHOT" box.
  4. Turn it on.

After you disabled SpeedStep in sBIOS your CPU will run on it's max clocks all the time without ThrottleStop running.

The last time I flashed this exact vbios on my K3100M, it would throw an error probably related to the drivers when attempting any 3D worklead(Fixed by reflashing stock vbios).

Is there any way to prevent this?
