So while looking into my laptops upgradeability i found this expensive adapter. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803475772893.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt Has anyone ever tried this product? if so what were you're results? what kind of bios modding would i be looking at to make this work on an MSI gt75 titan

So i am looking at the options i have upgradeability wise for my laptop. Currently i have a mxm b gtx 1080. i assume it is MXM 3.0? is there compatibility between MXM 3.0 and 3.1 type b boards? I know bios moding will obviously be necessary to make this work if they are compatible. i am experienced in soldering heat pipes and vapor chambers so thermal redesigning should only be a hurdle and will be possible. Thank you in advance for your help.
