Also here's my temps on an AIDA64 Stress Test: When stressing FPU (avx stuff) I hit 83ish degrees Celsius, but my CPU overclock goes away although its not thermal throttling (no VRM throttling either). Any way to stop that? My power limits are 160 watts and my current limit is 2500 mA.

So with the help of some engineer friends, I finally did the TM1 heatsink into KM1 mod. I swear the computer is on Nyquil or something cause its QUIET now (idling at 36-40 degrees now). Thank you guys for doing the research that made this happen!

Planning to perform the mod this weekend, so we'll see how it all goes. How did you preserve the screw threads, if you needed to? Also your GPU undervolt intrigues me.

So fun fact: They sent me a KM1 bracket, if they don't have any more TM1s I will have to dremel this one 🤣. How did I luck out on that part number LOL.

Will do. Friend has a dremel and a variable heat gun. I'll set to lowest setting and pray (that and get insulation tape). 😁

Oh right that they did, the parts should be coming Thursday. Decided to get the heatsink/fan and the bracket from them. Thanks for putting me onto them! Now to decide on the date for the operation 🤓. Speaking of which, looking at the screws on my current backplate I assume that I need a torx driver to get them off. Question is which size?

Let my Clevo upgrade to 11, overall not too bad but the "run as admin" option in search bar only appears for installed programs and not portable ones. So I have to manually go to the folder to run non-installed programs as admin. That's currently my only gripe with it. Oh yeah and Clevo Control Center threw a fit for a while so my hotkeys were gone (had to mess with the task scheduler to fix that).

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my KM1 heatsink to a TM1. Anyone have a CPU bracket they are willing to part with? I would really like to avoid sawing off standoffs if I can avoid it.
