  1. I use simple 3D printed plastic stands to raise the laptop about 2" off the desk. Almost free, no noise, incredibly small and light, prints in 2-3 hours. I was given an Amazon generic laptop stand with fans and RGB, etc but honestly it's loud, gaudy, and intriduces more clutter to my desk. The 3D printed stands are invisible under the laptop.
  2. Same. Love the 'mini' size leaps and bounds over my iPhone 11 or 7 Plus. Nearly identical to the iPhone 6 I still have and use for motorcycle trips. I use a magnetic Pop-Socket for various mounting. First phone I've had with an Otterbox case with working magnetic ring (strong) that still wirelessly charges at full speed!
  3. 2019 PowerSpec 1720 As shipped; 1x16GB PC2666 19-19-19-43 2T 1.2V, 500GB WD Blue NVME, (i7-8750H) ~1.2V Max Turbo, RTX2070 ~1650MHz & 1.25V Max Boost, factory BIOS. After Modification; 2x16GB PC3000 15-18-18-36 1T 1.35V, added Samsung 980 1TB NVME, (i7-8750H) -192mV cache/core undervolt ~0.98V Max Turbo, RTX2070 ~1920MHz & 0.931mV Max Boost, H2O UVE Unlocked BIOS. Several BIOS tweaks, pertinent ones in Signature. Honestly a good laptop for it's BGA limitations. Physical modifications only include removing the grills around the exhaust vents because they were orange (tacky), and blocked some airflow. I'm on Win 10 Pro using WPD, OOSU10, and Winaero Tweaker for sanity. Believe it or not I use Clevo Control Center with zero issues and I'm on 3.0 v3.62 currently. Full fan control, full RGB, working power modes, it all works on this laptop even after a BIOS flash. I used ThrottleStop for the undervolt and fine tuning like overclocking the Uncore Frequency and disabling some settings. When gaming I have a profile locked to 3.5GHz which runs cooler and honestly I can't feel the difference up to 3.9GHz. The GPU never breaks 73C peak and CPU 80C unless you hit it with AVX or some simulated loads. The cooling on this model is honestly fantastic, albeit a bit loud.
  4. Recently became a freshly shat turd of the US Justice System. Long story short now I'm living somewhere I am uncertain will be copacetic to the conditions of my new probation terms. The prospect of having to move is pretty bothering, plus the laundry list of new noses sniffing around in my personal life. I could go on but I'm sure it would be a lot of the same. I am glad to be working full-time and despite the governmental intrusion I feel as if I'm handling it with modest positivity. Wish me luck!
  5. Lots of nice cars in here! I am still chugging along in a 2004 Pontiac Vibe my late Grandpa gave me around 2015. 126,000 miles and very reliable! Within the year I hope to scoop up my roommate's father's 2013 Subaru BRZ with ~60,000 miles. In the past I had a Toyota MR2 and a Nissan 300ZX and I really miss having a 'fun' manual car. I think the BRZ would do it for me.
  6. No reason to yet. Absolutely chuffed with my current Win10 performance and optimization and see no real reason to have to start over in a new OS.
  7. It appears online to me and looking normal. Posts from today are appearing.

    And NBR is dead!

Joined up here, sad to see NBR go. It's been a weekly if not daily visit for me since 2006! But I'm glad to see the information continues to be shared freely here and (oddly) a few other forums. I haven't joined elsewhere but will admit to lurking haha
