The main obstacle so far with my P870DM-G is probably the CPU cooling solution. Even with a vcore offset of -150mW, lapped IHS, power limited to 90W, Im still seeing the CPU throttle to 80W under load and peaking at 98C in ycruncher (2 threads disabled in the screenshot). It'd be great if I could utilize more of the QTJ1's performance until I hit the ceiling of the VRM is capable of. I've read that I could use the P870TM vapor chamber CPU cooler with some mods for fitment in this chassis? And that there is a user on the forum called Developer that does custom vapor-chamber mods for these laptops?

I am a proud new owner of a P870DM-G! Though,do I need to modify the CPU pins on the QTJ1 for compatibility on my LGA1151v1 (formerly 6700k was installed)? What thickness of washers will I need to compensate for the CPU's extra Z-height? Where do the washers go? Ive attempted to install the QTJ1 but my P870DM turns off when I attempt to turn it on with it installed. EDIT: I've figured out where to put the washers (under each of the 3 socket torx screws), and the shut-off issue being due to incompatible BIOS (missing microcode & ME issue)
