  1. Does that happen also when you use a usb cable to transfer files from your android phone to your PC? I ask because I also had that issue of zero bites so I gave up using the OTA transfer procedure. OTA= Over the air. Cable worked just fine.
  2. We have the FCC here in the States to monitor our TV and Radio Stations.

I probably would be hitting the light fixture. 😄
  4. I always thought 'cheerio' was an English term, as in England.
  5. Just checked Dell web site for G7 series and I couldn't find any.
  6. I had a Commodore 64 sometime around 1982. Did the Amiga come along after that?
  7. I also want to thank you for bringing NBR back from the dead. But, I have a wish for future upgrade to this forum....When I click on a forum topic that I had visited previously, it always takes me to the top of the page so I have to scroll and scroll to find the last read item. Some forums that I visit take me to the next item that was new so that I don't have to search for the lastest posting. Otherwise, much thanks for all the hard work and effort you are doing to keep this forum up and running.
  8. Vaporware 😀 Ryan, that was a good one to post on April Fools Day.
  9. Brother Color Laser MFC-L3770CDW. So far it's been the best printer we have ever owned. Brother Ink somewhat pricey but 3rd party ink is cheaper. We also use a Canon TR 4520 for color photo prints. This model eats ink so you have to have a couple of cartridges handy for replacement. All of the Epson printers we have used in the past have failed in a year or so.
  10. Note this info on a version of CyberPower Tracer VII: :The Laptop selected is SOLD OUT The selected notebook can't be shipped to CA/CO/HI/OR/VT/WA due to the energy regulations adopted by these states
  11. Hertzian..You are sure correct about Tracfone service. Almost non existent. I gave up also and just went to Consumer Cellular and a new phone for the wife. Monthly price went up but service is great. I could not find a cheaper provider.
  12. Just unplug the thing. Those nasty robots need a power source don't they?
  13. If AI is supposed to be so smart, why can't they apply it to traffic light signals? For example, today we went to town and sat at a red light forever, even though there was no traffic in any direction except us. We were the only car in the intersection. I guess the answer is, maybe it can be done but you would have to use cameras to see if any other cars were in the area. But then again, don't the automated signals use sensor wires in the buried in the street? Why couldn't AI be used to decide that there is no other traffic so that it can switch to a green light for the one car sitting there waiting?
  14. Finally received fiber here in the boonies. Cost me $8000 to do a 1/7th mile underground trench for a conduit to the house. WOW. Still in shock over that cost. BUT, the Fiber people were able to fish the fiber through the conduit and another 200 yards of underground to their pole which they paid for. 1 Gbps and loving it. Now the bad part. The router that they supplied is locked. I can't change any settings except the password. That's the penalty of using their router. Maybe someone here will chime in to tell me what router to purchase later so that I can have control over it. My Netgear router didn't seem to work when I asked if I could use my existing router. It is a DSL router. Maybe that is the issue.
  15. Samsung A51 here. Good phone and still getting updates. Good battery life.
  16. Looking at Dell website today for an update to the G7 series it does appear that they no longer offer the 17 inch model. However they do have two offers of a 16 inch. Both come with only one drive and looking at their configuration page it appears that they don't even offer the chance of adding another drive. No room maybe? That's why the 17 inch was so good, it allowed two drives. Still using my 17" and loving it. No issues. Runs cool, no fan noise. This thing gets used every day, (spread sheets, word processing, video editing, multi windows, etc. No gaming.
  17. Guess you got lucky ADOR on that purchase. Mind saying what you paid?
