I'm playing Resident Evil 4 Remake after replaying Village (RE8). Awesome game especially if you're fan of the OG RE4. I might buy Requiem (RE9) during a sale.

Its what everyone else said, Laptops are not exciting anymore as companies stop being innovative and take risks. These are small examples:

but also forum sites are dying in general mostly because of reddit and other social media platforms where all the action takes place. Its been happening for years even some popular forums i know of are like graveyards today no matter what the topic is. It sucks but there nothing we can do about it.

Tiktok users data are now in the hands of Oracle and there are more censorship on the platform than ever before. Its a long messy story.

Just another reason i hope AI crashes and burns but unfortunately its going to take all of us down with it... Even the prices of DDR4 RAM sticks are ridiculous.
AI is cool to use but its far from ready but companies are pushing it for to imcreasr productivity at a much lower cost than having workers. Even here in the US tech companies are hiring H1B1 workers like crazy instead of hiring american workers to save costs, Pretty much cheap foreign labor, Lower pay and higher work hours..

YouTube has been with us for two decades, and throughout these years it has added changes and improvements, although its purpose and objective remain the same.
That's good and its because of the backlash they've received from the people. The main question is how long its going to last. Lets be real they're many misleading and dangerous content promoted on youtube on a daily basis 🙄

Britec09 and other tech youtubers received community strikes from youtube for their videos of telling users how to install Windows 11 25H2 on unsupported systems. According to Britec09 when he tried to appeal the strike youtube denied it and its not by a AI system but by a person. If he and others get anymore strikes youtube will remove their channels. Its pretty funny they're doing this now after Windows 10 support has ended a week ago. Maybe this will be resolved in a week but its still troubling

Incase anyone wonders why a large part of the internet was down today.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has confirmed it is tracking a massive issue that has rendered large parts of the internet unusable. AWS says it has identified and fixed the main issue causing the disruption, but it could be some time before all affected services are back to normal.
A not-infrequent occurrence, Amazon confirmed at around 3 AM ET that it was " increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS services in the US-EAST-1 Region," adding around 90 minutes later, "We can confirm significant error rates for requests made to the DynamoDB endpoint in the US-EAST-1 Region."
At 5 am ET, AWS stated, "We have identified a potential root cause for error rates for the DynamoDB APIs in the US-EAST-1 Region. Based on our investigation, the issue appears to be related to DNS resolution of the DynamoDB API endpoint in US-EAST-1. We are working on multiple parallel paths to accelerate recovery. This issue also affects other AWS Services in the US-EAST-1 Region. Global services or features that rely on US-EAST-1 endpoints such as IAM updates and DynamoDB Global tables may also be experiencing issues. During this time, customers may be unable to create or update Support Cases. We recommend customers continue to retry any failed requests. We will continue to provide updates as we have more information to share, or by 2:45 AM."
AWS is the infrastructure underpinning much of the online world; as such, the outage is causing a cascade of issues online, with many users unable to access a wide range of services.
U.S. users of Downdetector are reporting issues with Snapchat, Roblox, Amazon, Alexa, Ring, Robinhood, Max (HBO), Chime, Venmo, Epic Games, McDonald's, Fortnite, Lyft, Hulu, Disney+, Roku, Signal, and carriers including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. PC gaming platform Steam, as well as online forums like Reddit, are also impacted.
Popular banking apps and tools like Zoom, Pokémon Go, PlayStation Network, and more are also struggling, as are some AI services such as Perplexity.
AWS stated at 5:20 am ET that it had applied initial mitigations and was observing signs of recovery, adding moments later, it was seeing "significant signs of recovery." Despite this, AWS says there is a backlog of queued requests to work through, so it may take some time for services you're trying to use to fully recover.

I am enrolled in ESU since i always had a Microsoft account since the Windows 8 days, Its very easy to setup. But if you use a local account, first create a Microsoft account and then you can go back to a local account but you have to sign in to your microsoft account every 60 days or less otherwise you'll have to reenroll ESU again. At this time its a temp solution

When my current laptop either stop working, Software and games running too slow, or too damaged like a broken hinge then its time to upgrade. My current laptop is fine but it starting to show its age after 5 years and i kinda want to upgrade but i would need to buy a new laptop with at least 5070ti because of the VRAM issue, Thanks NVIDIA. 😬

Im not surprised its a smart strategy business wise of taking advantage of a crisis of a major competitor. Most people are scared about Windows 10 support ending so they gonna try to get a good piece of the marketshare from former Win10 users who dont wanna use Win11.

Does the game launch and run single-player campaign, or did they throw the baby out with the bath water and require their Micro$lop-sponsored anti-cheat cancer even for those that do not do online multiplayer?
That sucks... But here's the positive the game is very optimized which is a miracle in 2025 where majority of games run like crap and some having forced RT on. I couldnt try out the BETA because the new NVIDIA 580 drivers are broken especially for laptops, Low GPU usage in games which causes low FPS and performance, This affects GPUs in the 50 series, 40 series, 30 series, and even the 20/16 Series, probably affects the 10 series too. Going back to 577 and older fixes it.

Im not surprised, They really want everyone to move to 11 by any means necessary even though its still not stable which is bad for businesses and i dont think it'll ever will as long they keep adding more crap to it. I might try Win 10 LTSC when 10 goes out of support, I just reinstalled 10 on my current laptop after 3 years and it reminded me how bloated both Win10/11 are by default... thank god for apps like O&O shutup 10

Mostly because of WIndows 11's stupid TPM 2.0 requirements, gonna be a lot of e-waste because of it and businesses are not going to waste with the rufus method, Its gonna take years for most businesses to switch from 10 to 11 like it was when Win 7 went out of support, stability is very important for them

MXM is almost extinct, only found in a few older workstation laptops these days. Framework is the closest we're going to get
Sadly if i do end up buying a new laptop i'll be force to settle with a RTX 4060/5060 RTX 4070/5070 laptop because i wont spend over $2000 for any laptop and gaming is not a high priority anymore. Plus a lot of new games are so badly optimized that they run like sh*t no matter what system you have.

Every prebuilt PC and laptops already has Win11 preinstalled for years but Win10 still dominated the marketshare until now. It happened sooner than expected, The scare tactics are working and then people will be stuck with a broken OS!.

That why its a mod and its not easy to pull off, a lot of time and money but its cool to see other people doing this to fight back against NVIDIA. Sadly AMD refuses to take advantage of NVIDIA's mistakes to make themselves a good option. Speaking of the RTX3000 series there are rumors that NVIDIA is bringing back RTX 3060 GPUs

This is stupid, why politicians from both parties always create terrible solutions that wont change anything especially when kids are very tech savvy. Plus this bill is useless especially when Parents buy PCs for their kids they register the account (MS Account) or whatever under the parent's name and age, It would be more scary if they have to verify the age of the user through a webcam every time you wanna login. Just another excuse for the government to take more money out of regular people pockets. Also the media is nothing but propaganda and ragebait same with social media.
