  1. yeah I looked them up. seem decent. Im loving my new keyboard, its alot easier to type on, it really lets you feel the keys and doesn't require much to actuate
  2. Fact it is. lmao. Im happy with the 3060, but its messed up the desktop got 12gb and mobile 6gb of vram. Im already having issues having to turn down certain settings for the sole reason being vram. for example in far cry 6 all low 4k I cant use hd textures because it pushes vram upward of 7gb. pity but then again I didn't buy this 2 years ago for 4k gaming, I was gunning for 1080p and its suprising that I game at 4k high/60fps in all my favorite oldies
  3. @Papusan I love the 4060 because I dont have to buy it. nothing says advancement like 3 percent over predecessor
  4. well My dad bought me a 2tb 970 evo plus. its really fast 3500-3300 with read and writes. I have installed all the games I want including os on it and I have 800gb left, also im using my old 1tb as storage for programs and videos. I have 3tb now and using only 1.5tb, so in the end I don't know if it is worth it getting 4tb but I will never know as I can't afford anything, but one things for sure 2tb should be the minimum people should be gunning for in 2023
  5. imagine sli 4090s that would be something else. I wish they would just bring back SLI but I guess the market was to small for any real traction, NBR probably had like half the SLI customers posting in the forums. I also miss the days of bios modding ala Prema mods. the old school gpus were much simpler to overclock and I remember huge gains sometimes 50percent gains were possible. now its 10-20 percent due to thermal constraints. Everyone seems to have the same heat limitations. funny thing is if I remember correctly it had dual 1080s. and that would make it 50-80 percent faster than my 3060. thats 6 years time and still a beast.
  6. you guys have really good taste in music! Im always browsing this thread. finding new artists this side of spotify is nice, mixes things up as most of my time is music related. thanks for that one reciever, I think mr fox would like it also. also a side off topic note, I think this forum just needs more humor. jokes and such like the desktop thread about papusans shoes. I think morale could be brought up a bit, but yeah 1 year in and still going strong, some of us like myself need to post more quality and bite the fingers and hold off on typing crap posts. I don't try to I just get lonely and mainly bored as 90 percent of my town is senile 90 year olds.
  7. @EbanI really liked that song and your taste don't be selfish lol share as many as you can.
  8. something on topic. this creates video from text apparently. who knows just saw it This AI Startup Generates Videos With Text — And It Just Raised $141M Led By Google And Nvidia (msn.com) man if I had 10000 id invest in ai and be a billionaire in 5 years..fun being on disability haha. life eh just invest in 5 promising companys and wait. lol....super easy... we all know ai is going to be big also on a happy note before the world ends lol. investing in stocks that ai predicts will triple seems like a wise idea as ai is getting smarter by the day and exponentially so. good time to live in a 1st world country
  9. ok bro thanks, I missed your post so I just formatted and installed windows again. running pretty fast lol. I cant imagine how fast your computer is. Im strongly thinking of installing that lite windows 11 install. I just wonder about compat, I like to game once on a blue moon and if it doesn;t work im not good at troubleshooting in windone 11 @Papusancan you beat my 3060 with your 970? I'm thinking you could come close Im getting 9200 in timespy. also I thought you had a 980 laptop for a while? did you sell it? nvm just saw this https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6305332 your numero uno
  10. I installed gpupi from overclockers.at and now my computers running like a picked up a trojan. any ideas on how to reverse this bro @Papusan I'm doing a system restore..first time doing one..hopefully it's helpful..if not I'll have to reinstall windows after downloading games for two weeks
  11. just bought sniper elite 5 man the graphics took me back. was not expecting that, wow. It performs well for how it looks, never saw a game like this im getting 31fps average at 4k ultra settings, its fun so far just booted it up to see the graphics that everyone's talking about.
  12. newer is better Microsoft Has Just Admitted That Windows 11 Has a ‘Nasty Bug’ Users Should Be Aware Of Microsoft Has Just Admitted That Windows 11 Has a ‘Nasty Bug’ Users Should Be Aware Of (msn.com) pure gold
  13. Checked out opera gx. Really well done, interface is slick and performance is fast. Very very nice
  14. have 27 hours logged into grid legends, game is simply amazing cross of arcade and sim racing. just plain fun but a bit on the easy side.
  15. awesome news for me as my laptop runs like a 4060 lol. sad. Im glad I held off this gen, when the 6060 comes out then ill pounce but for now all were going to get is console ports so the demand shouldn't go up too much for the next 4 years, but vram at 6gb in concerning.
  16. yeah I was just joking around sorry, here in canada temps rarely pass 42c so it seems extreme and ludacris to work in anything near 42c but you guys in the states are used to that kinda weather and I get that. as for laws I don't think there is one saying you are exempt
  17. I guess everywhere's different. here in canada if it hits 43c everything is beach related. I can't see anyone working in 42c weather unless it a norm and has to be put up with but I heard that kinda heat can kill you in minutes but who knows with all the false information out there
  18. it would kill you. High environmental temperatures can be dangerous to your body. In the range of 90˚ and 105˚F (32˚ and 40˚C), you can experience heat cramps and exhaustion. Between 105˚ and 130˚F (40˚ and 54˚C), heat exhaustion is more likely. You should limit your activities at this range. An environmental temperature over 130˚F (54˚C) often leads to heatstroke. source Hot and Cold: Extreme Temperature Safety (healthline.com) if he is told to work in that temp he could sue for alot of money, worlds easiest case to win unless of course the judge is handicapped. this doesn't suprise me, as one time as I was about to be promoted to district manger of the water bottles, I had to wear a mascot suit outside in 45c weather and it was against the rules to drink water or take breaks, so I had to quit. lmao i think he was joking or it was a hyperbole
  19. i was thinking of buying him one but im broke atm. maybe tomorrow not sure about prices and tax
  20. yeah thats a great idea, does he have fans cough desktop chiller lol. shuts of his 50 computers temps drop by 10c/ but honestly id look at the cold water fan idea, could be worth the effort
  21. how much would it cost for a AC unit in your area. like a portable one, one for the bedroom
  22. genius, we can't control chat gpt so lets make something even smarter that we know for a fact we won't be able to contain. I see no problems here! you?
  23. thanks for that, I thought it looked to good to be true I bet if you ordered it they would honor a discount due to false advertising. either way I cant buy it, broke.
