apparently my iq isn't the 223 that was first indicated lol. I always wondered what someone with a true iq of 220 and up sounded like, like how they formulated their words and arranged their sentances. I looked up chris langan but his iq seems inflated, he talks like an average joe with a genius twist, no doubt he's a genius but 1 in a billion, are humans really this dumb. Ai is interesting to talk to but it's intelligence is not of the same feather.

@Etern4lare you stating we don't have free will? at least when it comes to being manipulated by intelligent entities. can you list one way or a way that you are most concerned by? im open even if it sounds crazy also I'd like to add most people don't think and alot of people arguing with you as per the begining didn't really have a point, they just used insults with a dab of sarcasm. I can tell your a very very intelligent wonderful person, but sometimes our minds get overly active and flood us with emotions such as fear. can AI take over the world, in short yes. that alone should be the foundation of the argument. little thought goes a long way. as for my self I like to think that I'm good with some things and poor with most things but due to circumstances which are not controlled by me.

I was just talking with my friend on the phone and were saying how we don't really move our laptops and a desktop makes more sense, more power and upgradeable. I wouldn't mind getting a 4090 desktop and have the comfort of mind knowing I can slap in a new cpu and gpu down the line. I might even just get a basic desktop and upgrade it in 3 segments, like get the cpu and stuff and upgrade the ssd and ram later then the gpu. I don't game a whole lot but its nice having the option

I bought something in between. I used to have a clevo gaming laptop it was upgradeable (mxm/LGA) I loved it. It ran everything I threw at it and never had thermal throttling it ran at full bore. then I bought an ultrabook as I came to realize I was no longer a big gamer. after awhile of being out of gaming I had an itch and bought something in between (thin and light/thick and heavy) and settled with the omen 16 which size wise was also in between 15.6 and 17in. Well it throttles lol. I hit 100c at 4ghz which is 200 mhz below full speed, and overclocking cpu is out of the question. what might save it is phase change pads as talon had some luck with his omen 16 getting it to run at full speed, but its kind of stupid having to modify a new laptop just so it can run at stock. as for DTR I get the deal with them, they are upgradeable beasts but like you guys mentaioned they are basically dead, so the only options left are something in between.

thats nice! Alot of people look for the basics as a starting point. good color coverage, contrast,resolution, refresh rate, motion. I heard only good things about the monitor. AI threatens humanities future how? it's threatening us how again? like terminator judgement day? robots killing humans? or do you mean like Ai hijacking nukes or something? I was thinking everything gravitates towards cause and effect or reaction. everything we do can have a calculable consequence with enough compute power or intelligence, simple then advanced. as AI evolves it might be able to calculate an outcome it wants which could mean the end of humans or said humans as slaves working for AI. if it reaches that level of intelligence then yes it could say a few things that would start a chain reaction of consequences perfectly calculated @Etern4l

don't you guys think that DTR are on the fringe of popular. like if they were sold so much then they would not cease to exist. If DTR were popular they would still be made.

I was under the impression as per the news that they will monitor and block certain things, thats what caught my eye. If I want the true it can't be filtered to suit the governments wants. we need free countries with freedom on information and freedom of speech. I have not noticed anything different about my internets content but hey, that could change, hopefully not but maybe it is just like the FCC and not nessessarily a bad thing. haven't done much research

supply and demand I suppose. If people are buying them and they are selling like hot cakes there is no reason to drop prices, I think US the consumer need to stop behaving like consumer cows and stop buying this crap. will it happen? probably not. I think the 4090 from what you gentlemen have shown is worth it's weight in gold, it really is a great card, but not everyone has 2000 for just a card. But there is just enough people buying them to keep this pattern alive

Epic games store actually has a pretty kickin game for free right now just caught it in the nick of time. death stranding is free and a great game to benchmark as it's well optimised and the performance to visuals trade off is one of the best. anyone here news on GDDR7? also @Papusan I was thrown back after watching the 3060 vs 4060 laptop comparison by jarrods tech, like a 10 percent bump for 300 bucks. its very frustrating seeing technology de-evolve or go into stagnation due to greed. we need more competition as it stands amd/intel/nvdia isn't enough

I wasnt joking. I don't mind. I'm a pretty nice guy. I live by the saying treat people how you want to be treated with 1 or 2 exceptions. If your nucs available ill be happy but dont hold back because of me if you need money for it u need money for it. managing 40fps at lowest 1080p with thps 1 + 2 heres maximum setting no aa low shadows. it seems to get 40 no matter what I do graphics wise. cpu bottleneck? its really impressive how far igpus have come, but I guess its more impressive how every year the dedicated chips go up 50 percent. 1080p is the new 720p. when igpus have the power for 1080p you know with a ded card you should be gunning for 4k
