    yeah I don't see how NBT will attract more outsiders by having like one thread for everything lol. Alot of people have left already and we are just one year in. CP77 I have/rdr2 I have/ CR I have. but I only really play crysis. just having a hard time motivating myself to get into a game vs listening to music the odd youtube video.

    @Reciever is it possible to add a Laptop benchmark thread or area, alot of people here are interested in laptop benchmarks. I can think of 4 people that are wanting this.

    yeah reciever has it limited to a small amount of space. I cannot upload my screen shots for some reason, I guess I get the special treatment being JRE84 and all.. its weird because iv'e won the day 3 times most recently march 7th and im close to being banned. iv'e literally done nothing harmful. its kinda like parents slapping their kid for having two cookies vs 1 whos right lol?

    win+prnt scn copys and saves a pic of the screen. I don't know why NBT has such low amount of storage for pictures, they should make the max file size 1mb

    I know this thread is about nahimic but honestly it made no diff for me. I'm not getting louder sound. however you guys can try dolby atmos (dolby access in WS) and setup for headphones and crank up custom EQ to max all channels. I usually get twice the volume and clarity out of my gaming laptop and weezer. it's one of the first things I do as I listen to music 6-7 hours a day.

    I have the same cpu and usually get 9k in cpu and max 10500 with gpu i get 8700- 9100 usually 8900/ so pretty similar your laptop is faster by like 8 percent, but thinner and lighter, with better build quality and materials!

    i have a xone controller.. then what does it copy 1 pic? or save them k. figured it out but i think im just going to use screen captures. You have GTA V modded right? can we see some pics of the damage. I think RDR2 looks nice but GTA V modded can look pretty amazing also. i'll report back with a pic or two maybe even a video. I want to see what my rtx 3060 can do graphics wise also I used medium vol/reflections/no msaa/and medium water my average in the benchmark all others maxed was 77fps at 1080p

    im getting 1300 with bursts up to 1459mbs honestly the only setting you need to change with ax210 is in device properties enable thoroughput booster and set preferred band to 6ghz and just use wifi 5 as 6 is broken. i went from 600mbps to 1450 so its a pretty big deal just setting one setting heres 170mbs never saw this kinda speed in my life

    you mention not wanting a garbage screen and decent performance. check out the asus zenbook 14 oled its around your budget and has thunderbolt 4 if you change your mind on gaming down the line.

    yeah It caught me by suprise. At first I was like is this the ingame video or pre rendered. then when it booted up. holy crap. controls are simple enough to jump in (controller) and its actually fun. had to take down about 10 jets, lock and then shoot when its locked on. was a cool experience, I was really into jets when I was a kid and the nostalgia is still there. I have HAWX 1 and 2 but this takes the cake, albeit newer. do you remember this game?

    This game looks fantastic and runs great, its all fun to play its a suprise to me as I played it for about 20 min and its been sitting in my library for a year or two Ace combat 7 : skies unknown

    thicker at 0.61 and 0.66? the trend is still thin and light, as @Papusan showed that laptop, it is real. A laptop without ports needs a mag hub for ports. the razor blade is like 0.01in thicker, thats not really saying much. not like they are all now over 1in. Heck the laptop I bought is under 1in and it's not even considered thin and light. just a pig with lipstick. I think its nice that 18in laptops are coming back but they are not for me or everyone, some people truely want a portable computer. imagine if cell phones were the size of laptops. they could be but they are not because the trend has always been power/portability. the only reason big computers exist is because people buy them, but soon we will be told what to buy and what to enjoy.

    notice anything my gpu clocks are not bouncing around since I did a fresh install of windows, they remain relatively consistant and a straight line on a graph. this is great news as i'll most likely be able to break 10k now if its not just a glitch. before with avg my clocks would bounce from 1700-1900 all over. my scores would barely go up.

    yeah i'm torn. I want both lol I'm thinking I should save up and get a desktop and just get an ultrabook. not like i'm a heavy gamer although that could change, kinda like saving up nuts for winter. I think the trend for laptop is slightly thicker and thats my mindset also. I used to just want the thinnest laptop with good performance and so I bought a gs63vr it was 0.66in thick but thermals were awful and it ultimately had too many issues. this time around I ignored my need for thin and went with the omen 16 its like 0.9in thick but has much better cooling. however if I was asked would I pay 500 more for something with 10c lower temps 0.2in thicker and worse battery life, you know what? I'd take it!! Also I'd like to add @jaybee83 would like this but If i were to go desktop or laptop, i'd go bga clevo or evga desktop. I really hope evga gets back in the gpu market but if they don't I guess FE doesn't hurt. I think RTX 5K series is going to wipe out the need for fans(lol) more like a portable AC unit attached, but thats my only concern! and just too clear this up guys, we are talking about computers right? thicker being better has my mind wandering!!

    future Desktop with current trends future laptop with current trends Im thinking the more robust desktop is the way to go. but having a smaller laptop means more portabilty. maybe you guys can shine some light

    avoid the AX210 and research a atheros card that supports 6ghz and thats it. i upgraded from 75mbps to 1.5gbps and the difference in getting games downloaded is shocking. i think i was getting a raw download of 150mbs on steam, took like 8 min to download gta v.. if you do get a ax210 expect fast speeds and great range but 6ghz band appears to be locked out. doesn't really matter when your getting 1400mbps in 2023 @kojack get this instead its cheap/newer/ and def better https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/products/sku/211485/intel-killer-wifi-6e-ax1675-xw/specifications.html
