Just a Update about the random black screens. I think it was the cable because i switched back to my Display x USBC and have not had any HDCP issue balck screens where the other cable was doing that.

Some thing isnt right here becasue there is no way your GPU should sitting at 75c. Something is off with your fan curve. As my CPU does get hot GPU barely goes over 60c on full 100% load

I dont have an issue with undervolting -110 so it is possible if your system will allow. It could be rocket lake issue. I would just disable turbo with throttle stop and be done with it

How much did you undervolt ? Running this thing at 100c is going to put your laptop in the grave sooner then later.

Unvolting the CPU will bring it down Also I have my FPS locked for every game at 300 so FPS doesnt jump to like 900 causing stress on the system

How you making out with your machine ? Did you hear anything back ?

Might the Matrix screen saver causing the issue as the stock windows works fine

Another thing i noticed is the screen saver wakes up ad random only with external monitor

I did read that also but this has to do with the screen itself when i use a external monitor that supports HDCP it works fine.

Actaully 3 slots work and 2 work in dual channel under the keyboard. As for Graphics Once and while i get a major display driver crash. Lately im getting the screen going black then coming back on. That could be a HDCP issue. THis things doesnt like using a external monitor but have found some sork arounds

I tend to agree at this point with the KM even though it is still dissapointing of the lack of support that was promosed when i bought it. On a personal note i have it working 95% of what i want out of it which is on par with my OLD MSI GT73VRE TITAN. Even with Damage to the socket i still get duel channel with the slots under the keyboard. My only real complaint is the lake of technical knowledge from resellar HID. I feel they should know more about the unit and how to trouble shoot better. When i sent my laptop to them back 6 months ago because it was having graphic issues and massive fps drops i am disapointed that they didnt check if it was caused by using a external monitor which i was able to replicate doing my own trouble shooting. I have to say if i was to buy again i would of got a x17 from dell. As of right now i would totall sell this thing just to get rid of it and just build a new desktop as the DTM is dead now which is a shame

I just confirm from Eurocom that they have the board in stock and will work with the standard Clevo bios

I would ask around like Eurocom and HID to see if they have it in stock. Thats what im doing right now

I feel the pain my friend. Did you try and run with one stick ?. Could these clevo motherboards be extra sentive more then other 1200 boards. I never had a issue in the past with swapping Intel cpu before this

Say it isnt so man. I still using my machine right now with the 2 sticks under the keyboard working in duel channel. The dimm slots under the back are the ones that dont work in duel channel because one dimm slot doesnt boot when its populated. Are you running 4 sticks ?

With that all being said i will most likely go with the HID one because i would have better recoarse in the future with bios flashes. They might not do it if i get it from Eurocom even if its the same motherboard.

HID is saying its just a standard Clevo mother board for the X170

When i was on 1.07.06 it booted with the EVOC Logo and it was insyde bios. The bios they gave me which was the 1.07.07 was not a HID bios. The logo on boot was Style note Wouldnt getting a new board from either Eurocom or HID allow me to get any bios from clevo ?
