  1. looks like I was mistaken about this, so I take this back I've just learned that there was a 6.0.9567.1 driver issued thru MSI Live Update (for few select motherboard users w/ recent board models and running the latest MSI Live Update app) and this one is only exclusively available there and not on the main MSI web site, which still has the 6.0.9553.1 version [and the 9553 version would be overwritten by the 9567 version issued by MSI Live Update if that app is used to download & install that version].
  2. 23H2 is coming to Windows 11 soon https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-11-23h2-top-three-new-features/ https://www.neowin.net/reviews/here-is-everything-new-in-windows-11-23h2-the-next-big-feature-update/
  3. my dad has a similar Toshiba laptop (it's a Satellite C55Dt-A touch screen late 2013 notebook PC) with pre-installed Win8.1 Home and the pre-installed Toshiba 750Gb HDD. updated even beyond the Jan. 2023 KB5022352 rollup update; I even have the KB5028228 July 2023 8.1 rollup installed on there (with an "esu bypass" I found elsewhere)
  4. that's ok. take as much time as you need, solidus1983. no need to release a new version right away until you are fully ready & have resolved all matters outside the computing world. I'm dealing with my own personal & family matters as well (though I won't disclose mine here) -though most of my own issues have been dealt with (aka. resolved) anyways, I don't see MSI releasing any new audio drivers for a while since the 6.0.9553.1 version from last week. newest Realtek Audio Console UWP app version is 1.46.306.0 (available somewhere in that other forum link that I mentioned)
  5. this has been recently updated to v6.0.9553.1 as of TH Sept. 7 A-volute Nahimic 4.10.0.0 AudioProcessingObject [APO4] driver from Microsoft Update Catalog (released early September 2023) -this new driver version will be listed in the "Audio Processing Objects" section of Device Manager instead of the "Software Components" section; requires at least 64bit Win10 v1809 (build 17763) to install Nahimic APO4 v4.9.10 driver + A-volute Nahimic extension 1.5.21.0 driver from MSI time for a new driver update, solidus1983
  6. Nahimic APO v4.9.10 driver + A-volute Nahimic extension 1.5.17.0 driver from MSI and latest Realtek Audio Console UWP app version is 1.45.304.0 {someone else in this forum posted it}
  7. if only Razer would post a full set of driver downloads on their support site for the Blade 16 2023 laptop that would be great. only downloads I see for Razer Blade 16 2023 on the Razer site are just the firmware & bios updates but no driver downloads. lame 😞
  8. there's no specific laptop pc (whether from dell or asus) that uses that nvidia graphics driver. because that driver is listed for a specific ASUS desktop graphics card - AC-ORIGINS-ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI. and here's the direct asus download link to that v390.65 driver listed for that video card: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/vga/nVidia/NVDriver_390.65_Win10X64bit_20180121.zip?model=AC-ORIGINS-ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI
  9. few days ago from Neowin https://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-might-soon-block-force-installing-windows-11-on-unsupported-cpus-via-bypass/
  10. KB5028228 is the last monthly rollup for Windows 8.1 (at least for 8.1 Embedded) normal client Win8.1 Home & Pro editions went EOL in January 2023 Win8.1 Embedded Industry edition went EOL in July 2023.
  11. almost 2 months later, looks like MSI finally released a new realtek audio driver - 6.0.9524.1 (for newly released Alpha 17 C7V laptops) same Nahimic APO4 4.9.10 driver but new extension driver 1.5.16.0 - also for Alpha 17 C7V also, this manufacturer (not related to MSI) has a Nahimic 1.9.19.0 UWP app in its driver + utility package (MS store version still has 1.9.17.0 of the Nahimic uwp app but later came a 1.9.20 version available either around end of July or in early August) edit 7/21 edit 2nd time 8/8
  12. speaking of CCleaner, check out this article from Softpedia News - CCleaner Review: Is It Still Relevant for the Latest Operating Systems?
  13. @solidus1983 all the links from my previous posts and from Virgoliciul97 are the latest ones latest Realtek UAD/DCH MSI driver is still 6.0.9514.1 released in late May latest Nahimic APO4 SWC MSI driver w/ updated Nahimic extension driver is still 4.9.10.0 / ext. 1.5.15.0 released end of May
  14. may 2023 updates done on my end for both w10 ltsc 2019 (v1809) and ltsc 2021 (v21h2) NOT encountering any printer-related problems with these updates as my HP printers work just fine, both locally thru usb cables and thru wifi/wireless connections
  15. that Nahimic APO4 SWC driver has A-volute extension driver 1.5.14.0 (nearly forgot to mention that last time) another Nahimic APO4 SWC v4.9.10.0 driver is available from MSI but has slightly newer A-volute extension driver which is 1.5.15.0 (released end of May 2023) instead of 1.5.14.0
  16. time to update again. if you were unable to make a modded 6.0.9500.1 MSI driver, you can now scrap those plans and go straight into doing a 6.0.9514.1 driver instead as the 9514 driver recently came out (as mentioned by Virgoliciul97 several hours ago)
  17. A-volute Nahimic APO4 SWC 4.9.10.0 driver is also available from MS Update Catalog (released there on 5/14/2023)
  18. time for a new driver update for May 2023, solidus1983 6.0.9500.1 Realtek UAD MSI driver version available (released on Cinco de Mayo 2023) Nahimic APO4 SWC driver version 4.9.10.0 (also released on Cinco de Mayo 2023)
  19. Mozilla recently just did extend/continue Windows 7 & 8.1 support for Firefox until late 2024 Firefox gives Windows 7 and 8 users more than one extra year of support Firefox will support Windows 7 and 8.1 until 2024 via the ESR channel
  20. Recently from BleepingComputer Windows 11 KB5023778 update adds promotions to the Start menu Windows 11 KB5023774 update causes Red Dead Redemption 2 launch issues
  21. aaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhh! GGGGggggggrrrrrrrr! MSI is still at it again this week 😠 MSI recently posted a new Nahimic APO4 driver for newly released MSI Vector GP68 HX 12V laptops - v4.9.7.0 and there was a Realtek UAD/DCH 6.0.9486.1 driver available (was released last week on March 17 for newly released MSI CreatorPro M16 B13V laptops) but the MSI web site wasn't yet updated at that time until either earlier today or yesterday to mention it
  22. MSI finally updated the realtek_audio_N_APO3.zip & realtek_audio_N_APO4.zip packages to include the 6.0.9492.1 driver as well (previous version of these packs had 6.0.9336.1 released around mid-April 2022) though the updated Realtek audio + Nahimic APO3 package has the outdated 3.5.0.0 APO SWC driver but the updated Realtek audio + Nahimic APO4 package has the newest 4.9.6.0 APO SWC driver.
  23. well solidus1983, MSI is recently at it again - releasing 6.0.9492.1 of the Realtek UAD/DCH audio driver for MSI desktop boards on Monday March 20. as for the Nahimic APO4 driver - it's still 4.9.6.0 but MSI has updated the APO4 Extension driver to 1.5.7.0. and as for Nahimic APO3, the latest one is still 3.5.6.0 from my previous post i'm still waiting for MSI to post a full set of driver downloads for newly released Vector GP68 HX 12V, 13V & GP78 HX 13V model laptops on their web site (currently the only driver download available for these models is the lone "Mouse Driver") no sorry ryan. unless Microstar International (MSI) pays Dolby the license fees to implement Dolby Atmos or whatever on their PCs & desktop boards (and MSI tells Realtek to write a specific Realtek extension MSI INF file that adds Dolby), that will not be happening any time soon if you really want Dolby Atmos or another Dolby enhancer, get either an ASUS or Lenovo brand machine since those manufacturers have the proper licenses to carry Dolby
  24. that's ok. I also have a busy schedule with some important family matters as well here's the link to the nahimic apo3 swc v3.5.6.0 driver (driver date for this one is 11/21/2022) edit 3/13 - doing a bunch of file comparisons and checking the DLL & EXE file properties of most of the driver files, while the NAHIMICV3apo.dll file was actually still the same version from the 3.5.3.0 to the 3.5.6.0 driver versions (only difference is with the updated MS digital signature date & time), the 3.5.6.0 driver does contain updated Nahimic Service [ex. NahimicService.exe] & Nahimic Notification System [NS] files (NhNotifSys.dll & NhNotifSys.exe)
  25. indeed I do on some occasions but I have not release them publicly (hence they're currently private ones). and some of the drivers for some older Gigabyte laptops (some of the older Aorus or Aero series models with 10th gen Intel or 11th gen Intel CPUs) do bundle the Clevo inf files {ex. HDXClevo.inf} + Nahimic APO, instead of the pure Gigabyte inf files (ex. HDXGigabyte.inf}. I consider those specific laptop models Gigabyte/Clevo hybrids Mokichu has updated his realtek uad asus SS3 (sonic studio 3) drivers a few days ago that has Nahimic APO3 SWC driver v3.5.6.0 for Sonic Studio 3. I'll try to post up the new apo3 softwarecomponent driver version later today or early tomorrow also, Nahimic 3 uwp app updated to 1.9.17 from ms store edit 3/13
