Yeah, you need to download 1.16 from the support site and install it. That file only enables downgrading. And, to be clear - it was not Dell who deleted the message, I (the author) did because the tech support asked me nicely. And since he is the MVP, I decided to not get him into trouble. Of course, once it's on the Internet, it's on the Internet, so... 🙂 He has no control or responsibility for reddit or here, I hope it won't do harm to leave the link. As I've stated in my edit - they are working on KB, I suppose with the bridge BIOS in it. It's just a slow corporate process to get that out I guess. Other than that I'm quite OK with the speed of the support - I've had the issue since Monday evening (local time), got L1 (Bulgaria) reply Tuesday morning, got escalated to L3 (Germany) Tuesday evening and got a fix Friday morning. Less than a week, and most importantly - in a software-only way, no board swapping. It still cost me shitload of money but hey - what can you do. I don't have issue with the support speed but rather with the quality control over the 1.18 release. These think should not happen, especially with these kinds of products, especially on that level of severity.

Got my heatsink assembly replaced under warranty by Dell. Now I get 16500 in Cinebench, which is about 10% improvement just from the switch. Old assembly was with Delta fans, don't know about the new one. I suppose it's the Sunon one because of the upgrade. Old assembly didn't have any missing pads. Time to learn about undervolting 🙂 Any recommendations about guides or something? @MyPC8MyBrain, your CB score looks awesome, I am aiming at atleast 20k (10min run) for reliable daily workflow. Can you please provide some places for good information what to do? I am with 7770 so I don't think it is viable to just copy/paste your settings.

Hey 🙂 I just registered. A little bit disappointed from my 7770, here's the config: Intel Core i9-12950HX, 30MB Cache, 24 Threads, 16 Core, 2.3GHz to 5.0GHz vPro NVIDIA RTX A5500 16GB GDDR6 17.3-inch, WLED UHD 3840 x 2160, 120 Hz, Anti-Glare, Non- Touch, 99% DCIP3, 500 nits, IR Cam/Mic WLAN 32GB, 1x32GB NECC 4800MHz DDR5 CAMM Module 1 TB, M.2 2280, Gen 4 PCIe x4 NVMe, SSD 6-Cell 93WHr Lithium Ion Battery 240W SFF Power Adapter Intel Wifi 6E (6GHz) AX211 2x2 with Bluetooth Wireless Cinebench R23 is quite low and it seems I'm not the only one with that problem. I am using it with a dental 3D scanner and I get really low FPS (mid 40s and should be high 60s) when scanning. Furthermore, scanning for a longer period of time really hurts performance, dropping FPS to mid 30s. Shame to pay that much for top tier GPU only to be bottlenecked by thermals on the CPU. Really frustrating. I hope some BIOS mod or a recall of some sort to change heatsinks will fix the issue. It's performing worse than a gaming laptop half the price.
