Yep, spot on. QC means you also should test the products you have created. I'm sure some will use it after they bought it🙄

Summary and conclusion

The sobering conclusion after all these tests is clear: Cooler Master could never have tested this cable in its current form under real-world conditions. No manufacturer who had even once attempted to insert this connector into a current high-end GPU like an RTX 5090 Suprim, a 4090 Strix, or similar cards would have been able to avoid this design without noticing the massive design flaw.

 

Yup. People are their worst enemy. Critical thinking is completely absent.

Some nice individual over at OC.net PM'd me the extra special HOF tool for even further voltage, LLC, and switching period control. Basically the same as the old KingPin tools. 

 

Ordered the HOF 5090D IceMan waterblock on AliExpress. Figured the card is pretty rare and any future owner will def. want the ability to put it under water to take advantage of the voltage and power limits.

We need more options like this state side. We desperately need another EVGA stat.....

 

Basically letting you push voltage to 1.15v and 2000w via software and vBIOS is beautiful. We shouldn't be needing to rip our cards open to shunt and attach an EVC (especially on cards sub ~1.095v) to enable functionality like this.

 

Crazy the XOC vBIOS still hasn't leaked almost 10 months later. We're creeping up onto a year soon since launch.

 

I agree on the waterblock purchase too. It will not only let you push this beauty, but will help with resell value later.

The AP was only mounted a couple of hours ago but it seems solid, reach is good. The gateway has a 500GB M.2 SSD inside for recordings and I have a test camera hooked up. Seems to be doing good so far.

Network is doing a solid 2.5Gb as that's the max speed of things on there, the two NAS boxes I have are read/write at 270-280MB/s.
