XXXshadyXXX
Greetings! I have a PC Specialist P775DM3 device, it came barebones with a half-dead 1080 (code 43 and outputs iso only to an external monitor, there are stripes on the laptop display every other time), I knew about this, but did not know that the laptop would not work from the processor graphics at all) Please tell me the most minimal video card for this laptop, the simplest one that will start. I saw Nvidia Quadro K610M for sale in my city, will it work?) Or is it only necessary from 1060 and above?)))
zex4
Hey buddy i alrdy did some experiments loong time ago with my 775...the cards I tested was gtx 880m 965m,970m and 980m they worked perfectly with modded drivers but you definitely need a modded heatsink...I think I still have the pic somewhere...will send it here today.... Otherwise I don't think that the cards older than 800 series will work tbh.... To answer you a definitive answer (I have also seen the answers you got from the russian forum), you have the following choices: 1. Go with the cheapest plug and play version - 1060 2. Go with the cheapest heatsink mod requirement - 2060 3. Go full power on plug and play - 1080 4. Go full power in heatsink mod requirement - 2080 5. Go beyond with 3080 - new custom heatsink and inf mod (or modded bios @srs2236 can help you with that) 6 hours ago, zex4 said: Hey buddy i alrdy did some experiments loong time ago with my 775...the cards I tested was gtx 880m 965m,970m and 980m they worked perfectly with modded drivers but you definitely need a modded heatsink...I think I still have the pic somewhere...will send it here today.... To be honest, I think that one can invest in at least a 1060 (heatsink fits and its plug and play. g sync also works - if you get a gsync card) Clevo P870DM-G | i9-9900K 4.6 Ghz on all cores (-90 mv undervolted) | 32GB Hyper X Black 2666MHz | Clevo RTX 2080 3.1b undervolted for better temp 1905Mhz @881 mv | AUO B173HAN03.1 144hz Gsync | Samsung 980 NVME | 1TB SABRENT NVME | 2 TB SAMSUNG QVO SSD | Dsanke TM BIOS - Chujoi13 adapted based on needs | Network Card: Intel AX210-AX | Windows 10 Pro x64

XXXshadyXXX
Thanks for the info! I'll think about what to do next))) I have another question: is it possible to clean the keyboard buttons from debris? I want to take them off and clean the inside. Is it possible without damage? Who did that?

Who did that? You can remove a button but it can become very easily damaged. Better not do it. You can clean with a very soft brush with special cleaning fluid or 99.9% isopropyl alcohol.
