4x16GB Crucial Ballistix 2933MHz CL14 at 1.3V VDD work without problem with bios 1.07.08 and EC 1.07.04. Just for the info:)

Guys,is this a good CB23 result for 11700KF?

-130mV offset, 80C max temp, 183W power draw (PL1 130W/PLT 56sec/PL2 251W), ambient temp 22.5C

Looks good, nice combo of temps and score!

With a 200W power draw you will get closer to 15500 but that is only of interest if you like CPU benching 🙂

what should this thermal pad be like? and what other ones should be on the motherboard?

The orientation does not look quite right here, that inward section should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise from this picture's perspective, unless for some reason it is a different board

Speaking of pads, the only info and pictures I could find list thicknesses going from 1.5 to 2.5 mm, is that correct?

Been wanting to try out upsiren 24w pads since i saw good reviews on them and they are relatively cheap.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CAJP7ojt3jaGxBrJNTzd1Kp5-gikdh_8 these are some chart results for pads, putties, pastes and LM, I do not think I wanna deal with a potential mess a putty causes.

Also wanted to try PCM-1

at least on gpu first, since it doesn't need a ton of cooling to keep low on temps.

PCM-1  is sold on Aliexpress for far cheaper than the seemingly reputable sources of PTM 7950 ( moddiy, for instance).

If you tried any, where did you get it? Is it useable for our x170?

I tried Thermal Grizzly pads once and bought the package at a good price.
I had a cold on it too, it's better than the factory one.
The right hardness.
Although Thermal Grizly is a good brand, its texture is very hard, so it is not suitable. Unfortunately.

My old motherboard died, so got new one and it has the 1.07.08 BIOS version.

I used to be able to loadd up my Linux OS.    I have attached a picture.  I do not get past this message.  Before it would boot past it when I was on the 1.07.07 and my old motherboard.

But now it wont load.  I tried using Pen Drive with Kubuntu on it and when you click on the option to try or install it just goes blank and goes no further.

Any Ideas.   Could it be the newer BIOS version

question... a Clevo rtx 2080 mxm is working in a x170km !?

ok the srews.

Yes, I know the screw holes don't fit 🙂 but I have my own cooling system (water cooling) for testing purposes. It's just a matter of whether a normal 2080 MXM works ? or only 30xx

Has anyone ever tested this? And it doesn't matter
whether it's a 10900k or an 11900k because the 11900k can support PCIe 4.0 and has 4 more lanes!

Nice RAM overclock! What RAM voltage and what IMC voltage did you need to achieve that?

Thanks! IMC voltage remains unchanged, while the RAMs voltage is 1.3V
