QuadRunnerJake Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 So i am looking at the options i have upgradeability wise for my laptop. Currently i have a mxm b gtx 1080. i assume it is MXM 3.0? is there compatibility between MXM 3.0 and 3.1 type b boards? I know bios moding will obviously be necessary to make this work if they are compatible. i am experienced in soldering heat pipes and vapor chambers so thermal redesigning should only be a hurdle and will be possible. Thank you in advance for your help.
runix18 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Pls. post a pic from GPU. MAke sure it looks like this. If it looks like that then that is your RTX 2080 upgrade. I belive no bios moding will be necesary but you will need an inf. mod.
