From what I know @Developer79 has experience with Gpu enclosures on Clevo laptops.

I can use it with two laptops. MSI GT70 (4th gen) and Clevo P751 TM1. It works with both. You have to adjust a few things to be good.

One of our AW club members has one like this in his M18xR2. He was using a 6900 XT I believe. Using SG graphics mode (Optimus mode). 

 

As long as you can use Optimus mode it should work just like any MXM card. I recommend using with nVidia cards though for best compatibility. 

 

Might also work in pure PCIe mode as well depending on the PC.
