TreeTopsRanch Posted February 17 Share Posted February 17 Just had the auto restart after update issue on the wife's HP laptop. Just a spinning indicator all night long. I had to hold the start button down for 50 seconds before it would stop and computer turned off. Left it off for a minute and pressed the start button, got a message to not turn off while updating and after several minutes it did the update and restarted correctly. This is the 2nd time this has happened to the wife's computer when doing an update and auto restart. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wilpang Posted February 17 Author Share Posted February 17 I think I am missing some partition drives on C drive, could be the problem not sure how to resolve without wiping everything and starting afresh as I expect the partitions will be auto created.
