Mal
I'm just wondering if dsanke's bios on the p870dm3-g supports the RTX 3080 16 gb mxm card and a QTJ1 mutant processor at the same time, I seen that the original bios is fine with the 3080 on another post but I'm not sure if dsanke's bios is or not, I'd like to put a newer CPU in it so the 3080 isn't bottlenecked. runix18
Yes, you will need dsanke 2021 final version of bioses for DM2 with disabled ME to be able too boot with QTJ1. As far as using 3080 an inf mod will suffice, as the card should boot even with stock bios. 1 Desktop - MSI X670E Tomahawk Wifi (cheap Ebay mobo that I fixed) | AMD 7800X3D | 32 GB Trident Z5 Neo RGB 6000Mhz | MSI RTX 4070TI Suprim X | Alienware 27 AW2724DM 2K 165 Hz Gsync | Samsung 990 Pro Nvme - Boot | Other various storage | Windows 10 Pro x64 SOLD - Clevo P870DM-G | i9-9700K 4.5 Ghz on all cores (-50 mv undervolted) | 32GB Hyper X Black 2666MHz | Clevo RTX 2080 3.1b undervolted for better temp 1905Mhz @881 mv | AUO B173HAN03.1 144hz Gsync | Samsung 980 NVME | Dsanke TM BIOS - Chujoi13 adapted based on needs | Network Card: Intel AX210-AX | Windows 10 Pro x64
Mal
Okay, thanks, Forgot to ask, do I need to isolate any pins on the cpu or is that not required for the QTJ1 cpus?
runix18
From own experience, those 2 pins do not need to be isolated, they will simply burn out and nothing else changes. From what I know there is no need to isolate the pins with a franken CPU, pins will not burn. Mal
Thanks, just didn't want it to melt and short to another pin or anything like that if I did have to.
