I wonder if it's a code error in dark mode.  I will see what @Reciever says!

The  Hi-Fi via Tp Link HA100 bluetooh music receiver issue of only on HI FI speaker with sound was possibly fixed with a tablet reboot. Xiaomi support answered promptly in same day but had no bearing in the solution which i am not certain what it was.

This happens when you do copy/pasting into your post from somewhere else. The "black text on white background" text styling can get copied in as well ... and it is not obvious unless you are running a dark mode theme.

Things are in cruise mode so i post here the new Huawei Matepad 13.2" 2025 ,  OLED 1000nits with anti reflection, 580g so lighter than smaller tablets. Mine is 590g with 12.4".

This is pushing to another quality level and priced accordingly with pen, bluetooth mouse and keyboard 1199 euros.

Mine without extras was 499 euro.

Caveats, their CPU's are not top performers compared to the top snapdragon and Mediatek, OS increasingly departing from Android ecosystem, so consider it a walled garden like Apple. Not certain that Android apps will work along the tablet years of use and their OS updates.

An horrible Huawei decision is the camera notch, would have killed my decision to buy it if i had that kind of money.

Thanks kojack

No, i am with Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.   I have no money for that Huawei , also do not have video out even if i ended not using it much for now, plus have that ugly notch.

I had a couple days ago somewhat of a test but more about Android and its browsers than the tablet itself. I had to upload files and  fill in  pdf documents forms in a municipal authority website.

Usually these websites in the past were done for windows/PC's only so i was a bit worried.  But everything went well and the touch screen is good for this stuff.

Oh yes, touchscreen is the best. I have it on my notebooks and desktops as well. I use them all the time for things.

Is Apple preparing a giant 18,8" foldable tablet maybe with MacOS instead of IOS?

Apple is the dumbest company right now.  Just put macOS on the iPad Pro. Nobody want's folding tablets/etc. I have a flip 6 and it's the last foldable I will own.  Fun for 15 min, now just annoying.

You can't just put macOS onto an iPad Pro because all but the 1-2 TB models only have 8 GB of RAM. iPadOS is generally a flaming pile, but one of the few things it's good as is being well-optimized for low amounts of onboard memory. Now if Apple can engineer some kind of "macOS Lite" that would be optimized for the iPad, that would be something. Then they could have a more advanced version, eg macOS Pro, for their actual computers.

Desktop: Ryzen 5 5600X3D | 32 GB RAM | GeForce RTX 4070 Super | 4 TB SSD | Windows 11

Gigabyte Aorus 16X: Core i7-14650HX | 32 GB RAM | GeForce RTX 4070 | 2 TB SSD | Windows 11

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Gaming: Ryzen 7 6800H | 16 GB RAM | GeForce RTX 3050 | 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro: Ryzen 5 5600U | 16 GB RAM | Radeon Graphics | 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

Christ for years apple have been crowing about how 8gb of ram is all that is needed in the mjesus chipped macbook airs.  SO yeah, you can "just throw" macOS on the ipad with mchips in them.

Now that we are in memory discussion  i was curious and went to look at xiaomi tablet that also has 8GB RAM, i have 33 tabs open in Opera, 6 in Firefox, 39 in Vivaldi, 8 in Chrome, i also have these apps OneNote, Outlook, Whatsapp and SMS/Phone messages opened- this last 2 replicate what is in the phone but i can interact as if i was on the phone.

Can you check memory swap on your tablet?  I am using my dell 3000 11 inch notebook and now have Zorin OS running on it. I only have 4gb of ram on this system and it uses swap at times to make up for lack of ram as MacOS does.  This makes the system much better than if you were only using the ram onboard. This new small notebook is going to be my "tablet" as I have waydroid so I can run android apps from the play store.  But using linux is a breath of fresh air.

For some reason i cannot find where to see the current memory usage but seems i have a 4GB swap file. It can be set  0GB,  4GB , 6GB or  8GB. So max 8GB+8GB, currently is 8G+4GB, 4GB seems to the default since i did not changed it.
