considering the exact same date, and bios model, and the way it cuts off abruptly, I think the vbios may have been victim of a failed flash, as the card seems functional in every way exept it does not connect with the laptop's bios.

Daily Drivers:

JANKTOP IV Mini-ITX Laptop - R5 2600X, 16gb DDR4 3000 Mhz, RX 5700 XT - (ONGOING)

Claymore V2 Cyberdeck, 6900HX, 680m iGPU, 16gb DDR5, 185 Wh Battery

14 R1 - 4710MQ @ 3.6 Ghz, hd 4600, 12gb DDR3L 1600 Mhz

Past Projects:

15 R3 - GTX 1060 6gb, i7 7700HQ, 16gb DDR4

17 R4 - RX 470 8gb i7 6700HQ, 16gb DDR4

M17x R4 - 3630QM, Quadro P4000, 16gb DDR3L 1600 Mhz

Did you manage to solve the problem? I bought a GTX1080 Aetina and it doesn't give me video on a P775DM

I adapted it to an MSI GT70 by cutting the casing but it gives me a blue screen, maybe it's a driver issue, although it is detected correctly in GPUZ

@GraiI never did unfortunately, the 1080 has just been sitting benched till I have the time/experience to fix it.

I do not, I found it on the techpowerup database, and I don't think you would want a zotac bios for an Aetina card. I would suggest requesting it on the forums (A lot of people have Aetina cards), or contact Aetina directly and ask if they can send it to you.
