electrosoft
I put "Official Thread" in quotes as I am sure all of about 3 people will buy this thing, but you never know. 🤣  This thing is gluttonously insane with all the extra visual bling and will come packing a 5090, 64GB of 6400 memory and a top end Intel 285 CPU.  MSI release: https://www.msi.com/news/detail/MSI-Unveils-New-Laptop-Lineup-Featuring-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-50-Series-at-CES-2025-145200  Tom's: https://www.tomshardware.com/laptops/gaming-laptops/msis-new-gaming-laptops-include-a-norse-themed-titan-dragon-edition-translucent-cyborg  Actual look, hands on and inside the hardware looksy....    I'm sure this is going to cost a few organ donations to purchase, but it is the type of glorious overkill I always like to see in some hardware from time to time. 1 Electrosoft Alpha: SP109 14900KS 59/46/50 | Asrock Z790i Lightning | Nvidia RTX 5080 FE| AC LF II 420 | TG 2x24GB 8200 | Samsung 990 Pro 2TB | EVGA 1600w P2 | Phanteks Ethroo Pro | Alienware AW3225QF 32" OLED Ellectrosoft Beta:  Eurocom X15 Raptor | i9-12900k | Nvidia RTX 3070ti | HyperX 3200 CL20 32GB | Samsung 990 2TB | 15.6" 144hz | Wifi 6E Heath: i9-12900k | EVGA CLC 280 | Asus Strix Z690 D4 | Asus Strix 3080 | 32GB DDR4 2x16GB B-Die 4000 | WD Black SN850 512GB | EVGA DG-77 | Samsung G7 32" 144hz 32" My for sale items on eBay.
coldblaze
Very excited about this laptop because of how unique it is. Been looking around and haven't seen any details about pricing or a possible release date. Anyone had any luck?
1610ftw
Just look at last year pricing for the Titan 18 top model with the 4090 and you have a good ballpark. I have not heard about availability but I would guess February or March.
qadhi79
Best thing about this laptop is the 4 NVME SSD slots (1xGen5 + 3xGen4) but RAM slots are reduced from 4 to 2 compared to the previous one MSI Raider 18 HX Intel i9 14900HX, RTX 4090, 18" QHD+, 64GB RAM, 4TB NVME, 2TB NVME, 4TB SSD, 4TB HDD MSI Raider GE76 Intel i7 12700H, RTX 3070Ti, 17.3" FHD, 32GB RAM, 2TB NVME, 2TB NVME CLEVO P775TM1-G Intel i7 8700K (Delidded), GTX 1080 MXM, 17.3" FHD G-Sync, 32GB RAM, 2TB NVME MSI GF65 Intel i5 10500H, RTX 3060, 15.6" FHD, 16GB RAM, 2TB NVME ASUS ROG G701VI Intel i7 6700HQ, GTX 1080, 17.3" FHD G-Sync, 32GB RAM, 2TB NVME
1610ftw
Maybe MSI thinks that two of the new 64GB CSODIMM will be good enough as they will allow for 128GB from just two memory modules: https://videocardz.com/newz/crucial-intros-ddr5-cudimm-memory-up-to-6400-mt-s-64gb-modules-coming-2025
br2
I like me some dragon stuff but not enough to add 1500 bucks to the already silly cost. I may end up with its little brother tho if Clevo doesn't make something with a full keyboard.  Ed: https://www.google.com/search?q=Clevo+"X580" 🤞🤓🤞 Clevo’s X580 next-gen laptop specs leaked: Arrow Lake-HX CPU and GeForce RTX 50 GPU
epguy3
a dedicated page for MSI Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth was posted on the MSI global web site either Jan. 23 or Jan. 24 only Quick Guide, User Manuals and "Mouse Drivers" are available for this new model; no other driver downloads are released yet on its support page (maybe until next month)

I am not sure if these prices reflect tariff increases as well. There is also no QHD+ 240hz model listed now either which is a big disappointment.  The Intel variants with Arrow Lake HX are no less expensive either.  It will be interesting to see what power limits and clocks they end up allowing for the 9955HX3D. Hopefully much higher than it was for the 7945HX3D. the jg89
Is there some sort of embargo with the 5000 laptop series? would be interesting to see how this performs.
