No symptoms so far, wondering if the marked 'Sector count' means imminent carnage or continue use (for a while). Got backups & will run surface tests. Any recommendations (continue use ...or scrap asap) ? Thanks Dell Precision 5540 w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), HP i5 desktop w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), Dell E7440 w8.1, Tosh w8.1. 6730b
Surface test shows the 7mm Seagate is ready for replacement. Gave good and long service. CrystalDiskInfo correctly warned about drive degradation. 2 Dell Precision 5540 w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), HP i5 desktop w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), Dell E7440 w8.1, Tosh w8.1.
