Hello my RTX 4080 from ASUS has low scores on TimeSpy. Even my RTX 5000 Ada beats this GPU.

I got 16k TimeSpy score, meanwhile it should be at 26k.

What's wrong?? My motherboard is an ASUS Pro WS WRX90 with tons of bandwidth. My PSU is a 1000W one.

The temps are so good too. The fan never kicks in when doing 3d stuffs

Any help?

I'm hitting 50% TDP usage max...

10000 TIMESPY SCORE, Why is the performance similar to an RTX 3060?

I used Windows 10 I was about to get 100FPS and on Windows 11, 75FPS.

My Direct X performances are so bad. OpenGL always have a constant 320W on FurMark...

Help please, no ignore.

Hello.

I undervolted and the VREL warning stopped coming. I'm still getting low performance on TimeSpy.

But on steel Nomad, TimeSpy Extreme, Port Royale, I'm getting more than the average... So maybe TimeSpy isn't a good benchmark?

Even on my 3090 I get low frames with the regular TimeSpy.

So to conclude, my GPU doesn't have any problems.

Resolved maybe?

Load up HWinfo and/or GPU-Z along with MSI AB when running and see how much the card is pulling under load both Timespy and Steel Nomad.

You really shouldn't have to undervolt your 4080 in any way for it to operate normally.

I'll assume you have tried a clean Windows install or at least a DDU and graphic driver re-install.

Hello. Yes I did DDU, I even used a new copy of windows in a new SSD.

On other benchmarks I'm hitting 350W easily but on Time Spy standard, I'm not... I hit Vrel, even after using the OC scanner method on Afterburner.

standard timespy really like low latency memory(TR pro hasnt bcs of reg ecc mem) n high CPU clocks.

timespy extreme = more GPU load bcs of much more details/textures etc.

so timespy just showing u, ur system isnt balanced n the CPU/mem is the bottleneck for ur graphics card at 1080p

how higher the resolution/details/textures how much more the system get balanced. is like the P4200 vs. P5200 situation, ppl saying "they r almost same performance" yeah bcs testing at 1080p the CPU is the limit, not the card, at 4k the difference is 12-15% bcs the GPU is the limit, not the CPU anymore.
