Mr. Fox
After selling both of my Z790 Apex boards, CPUs and associated parts, I am getting around to offering up the surplus parts. As I found better binned CPUs to buy, I set aside some of the great samples as backup/spares rather than selling them right away. Now I have leftovers that are still better than average. I forgot I had these hoarded away, LOL. So, I had to purchase a motherboard to confirm their identities and test them. So, now I have a new motherboard to sell that was only used to check these CPUs. I've also got a couple of bare die blocks I no longer need. All CPUs were delidded for bare die application. They have been relidded with liquid metal for resale. All tested and found to be excellent. The IHS can easily be removed for direct die application if desired. There is only one drop of rubberized glue on each side to hold the IHS on the CPU. Payment: PayPal Friends & Family or Zelle cash transfer Shipping: Buyer Pays (or local pickup) Send a PM if you are interested. No more testing or benchmarks will be performed, so don't ask. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spoiler Item #1: Z790 Motherboard/13900KS CPU Combo - $550 + Shipping - SOLD - NO LONGER AVAILABLE - The motherboard is essentially brand new. It sells for about $350-400 depending on where you look and when. I do not know how high it can be tuned stable. I tested an AMD EXPO 8000 kit in it and it booted up fine but needed more tuning to be daily driver stable at 8000. The CPU is mounted with a Thermalright frame and will ship in the motherboard (as currently installed). The stock ILM and socket cover is in the box. ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI | ROG.ASUS.com 13900KS SP108 (120_E84_MC83) - SP Rating Photos (the MC SP is a screenshot saved from when it was in an Apex since Strix has no MC SP) Updated 5/27/2025: Well, the mobo and CPU combo deal just got sweeter. I had an old G.SKILL Trident Z5 7200 kit that had one bad stick. It was in my spare parts pile an forgotten about. I rediscovered it going through my stuff to sell and I had it replaced under warranty and today received the brand new replacement kit. I am including it in this mobo/CPU bundle at no extra cost. So, it is like getting $135 for free with the purchase. It sells for that price on Amazon today. G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 7200MT/s CL34-45-45-115 1.40V - Metallic Silver (F5-7200J3445G16GX2-TZ5RS) I just now opened the sealed package to install it and set the XMP profile to confirm it was good. No tuning done, just confirming the kit runs at the rated XMP speed and timings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spoiler Item #2: Intel Core i9 14900KF - $350 + Shipping - SOLD - NO LONGER AVAILABLE - 14900KF (SP102_P114_E80_MC87) SP Rating Photos (the MC SP is a screenshot saved from when it was in an Apex since Strix has no MC SP) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Item #3: Intel Core i9 14900KF - $375 + Shipping 14900KF (SP104_P116_E82_MC88) w/ lapped Copper IHS SP Rating Photos (the MC SP is a screenshot saved from when it was in an Apex since Strix has no MC SP) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spoiler Item #4: Thermal Grizzly Intel Mycro Direct Die V1 (non-RGB) - $50 + Shipping - SOLD - NO LONGER AVAILABLE - Intel Mycro Direct-Die V1 | Thermal-Grizzly.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spoiler Item #5: Supercool Computer LGA1700 Direct Die Kit - $40 + Shipping - SOLD - NO LONGER AVAILABLE - This includes the RGB shroud, mounting hardware and associate parts, Allen wrenches, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Photos of the above items are provided below. Clamibot
I'd buy one of these if I hadn't already bought a 14900KF from you last November. That thing is awesome. Bro Fox is an awesome seller. You can buy with confidence from him as you will get exactly what you paid for. He will also make sure you get what you paid for. As a result, I scavenge used hardware from him like a vulture when something is available. 1 AlienyHackbook: Alienware M17X R5 | i7-4930MX | GTX 1060 | 32GB DDR3L Kingston HyperX @ 2133 MHz CL 12 | MacOS Sierra 10.12.5 | Windows 10 LTSC | Hackintoshes Rule! Mr. Fox
I haven't change the price on overclock.net but I am willing to knock $50 off the mobo and CPU combo for members of this forum. So, $500 + shipping. The motherboard is basically brand new. It was purchased for the sole purpose of identifying each CPU (SP ratings) because I had lost track.
