mickeybat059
Hi everyone, I recently picked up a Dell Precision M4800 to upgrade and use as a second work machine. I was wondering if the Nvidia Quadro M2200m in the correct MXM 3.0a format could be installed on my computer by upgrading an Nvidia Quadro K1100m. I saw a tutorial from someone who tried upgrading the m4800 with a t2000 in a custom HP format, and I would have been thrilled with that upgrade on my m4800, but the price on eBay is very high for the type of card and the PC (over $150). I also saw that another easy upgrade could be the M2200m. Has anyone tried upgrading this computer with that card? Is it possible without any problems, almost plug-and-play? Anyway, thanks in advance.

The only thing that is highly recommended is that the version be from a Dell laptop (green), because versions from HP sometimes do not have a soldered vbios.
