2017 Alienware R4 TPM 2.0 with bios update?

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before. I try my best to come up with the answer googling and searching before asking.

 

I am in the market for a used laptop for my son. Nothing fancy. The game we want to play uses EA’s Javelin anti cheat which I’m sure you all know requires TPM 2.0.

 

Found EVGA SC17 (also unsure about TPM but asked in another thread) and a 2017 Alienware R4 with the 1080 and it looks like it will allow TPM 2.0 with a bios update but I was wondering if anyone could confirm this for me.

This is my second post on different makes of laptop but same subject. I wasn’t sure if asking in the same post was allowed or not so I made 2 separate posts. If this is frowned upon, I apologize and won’t do it again.

what CPU have that laptop? firmware TPM depends on chipset and ME implementation, but if the laptop is a 8th gen intel cpu one have the tpm. 7th and 6th as well, but depends on bios support and ME updated sometimes depending on the OEM
