synclear Posted Friday at 08:25 AM Posted Friday at 08:25 AM The M4800 + M2000M was installed and the driver was installed normally. However, GPU FAN is not working. Running diagnostics causes a 20000-0511 error. After removing the FAN, it was confirmed that the FAN operates normally when power is supplied from the outside. Is there any way to solve this issue or anything else I need to check? I look forward to your kind reply.

If you use one of those, can you get the fan to turn on? synclear Posted Monday at 07:29 AM Author Posted Monday at 07:29 AM Thank you for your reply. I ran hwi and checked it by manually adjusting the fan speed. The CPU fan rotates normally, but the GPU fan is fixed at 10,000 PRM and has not actually rotated.
JadeRover Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Hello, sounds like maybe the fan connector got damaged as your fan still works when powering it externally. How did you test it, you plugged 5v on the + and - pins ? Did you remove the fans when upgrading ? Aaron44126 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I'm also worried about physical damage. The "normal" behavior for when a GPU upgrade causes fan misbehavior is just that the fans will not turn on, report 0 RPM, and will behave when manually adjusted with a tool like this. (I seem to remember usually hearing about this when it comes to AMD GPU upgrades, though.)
