Hello I have the same problem with my m18x r2 that happened to many before . and as I just bought bough the device two days ago and it's my first time using alienware device I had problem running it with gtx 1070 and I changed few settings in bios that made the device dead to me . starting for few seconds then shutdown . blindflashing never worked I tried many times . so I have to go with your method with the dumb for SPI Rom chip . will appreciate if anyone has the dumb that I can use to fix this . or if there is any other solution to this

Blindsflash should work fine in most cases. Did you blind flash the A03 version without any GPU in the slot? No other version will work. I changed setting for the iGPU once and bricked mine.

Alienware M18x R2 i7 3720qm -> i7 3940XM / Dual 7970m -> 980m SLI -> HP Quadro RTX 3000

Alienware 17 R1 4710MQ -> 4930mx / 880M GTX -> PNY Quadro RTX 3000

HP 8570w / i7 3820qm / Quadro K2000M

HP DV6500 / i7 T7200 -> i7 T9500 / 2GB RAM -> 4GB RAM / Atlas OS

the gtx 1070 was installed but that shouldn't eb a problem I think . I followed the instructions . usb to fat32 with A03 and got the needed file renamed it and sent to the usb then pressing end and putting the power . now all the fans starts and laptop just not doing anything for 30 minutes tried five times . no beebs or anything

It is a problem. Do the process without the 1070 in. System tries to boot in PEG mode and fails. If you had an 880m or earlier, maybe it could boot
