I Just got my 3080 so im not looking to upgrade anytime soon, its just interesting and funny this new card is out now lol. It would be better to get the RTX 3080 to run in a nice 120Hz eDP laptop such as the M17X R4. I got one on mine 120Hz in UEFI. Sadly due to the AVX2 missing set on the core i7 3rd gen, it won't be wise to use these Ada and Blackwell cards anymore. However these cards would be good for some Dell, HP and Clevo laptops! (AVX2 laptops with better single core and eDP display) 4090 is cheaper than the 5080. 5090 is unknown to work on eDP laptops.

It'll probably work in SG mode no issue on any of the Alienwares...well that's all I can say for now 😃 I hope to get one in the future to play with but it's way too much $$$ right now.
