The remaining low error counts are probably just signal interference, meaning โerror ghosting.โ I think there is still a good chance the card can be repaired. ย Finally! ๐ I managed to repair an RTX 3080 graphics card that was about to end up in the trash, with a total repair cost of less than $80! Two traces between D1 and C0, which connect to the GPU, were broken. I repaired the GPU by performing a reballing, and the card came back to life! Many people told me to throw it away, that the card was dead, and that I should just buy a new one, especially with prices being ridiculously high. I actually bought another card on eBay from the same seller I had purchased the original one from, only to discover that it was faulty too. I ended up returning it to the seller. That experience made me even more determined to stick with my original card, as long as the GPU was still outputting data and the problem was somewhere on the PCB. What I learned from this journey: Never give up! ๐ช Make the most of every repair video you watch, learn from every experience, and keep trying. All those graphics card repair videos I watched turned out to be incredibly valuable in bringing this card back to life. Sometimes, a little patience, knowledge, and persistence can save a GPU that everyone else has already given up on! ๐ง๐ฅ
