Yes, it was originally created to replace the two MXM graphics cards, the RX480 8GB RX580 8GB. Miners previously used more than just PCI-E slot graphics cards, they would also use MXM slot graphics cards, inserting 16 of them inside a machine. But unfortunately eventually PCI-E mobile core graphics cards replaced these MXM cards, otherwise there would now be tens of thousands of MXM cards for the RTX3060 3070 3080. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
