I love the idea of a proper "modular" computer.

I'm thinking back to the days of vic-20 and amiga 500/1000...mid 80's

 

My idea would look more like a bank of expansion port slots or better yet, lego bricks stacked on top of each other and you basically buy each component you want.  Just like this mini but desktop size/small form factor.

So basically a larger form factor Pockit? Sounds good to me. I suppose it makes sense to start small, but would certainly be great to see more expansive variants in the future.
