Ishayin Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 https://www.pockit.ai/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3F9OtH2Xx4  For those of us who wanted something even more flexible than a Framework laptop 😃  Wasn't sure whether to put this here as a "gadget" or in General, or somewhere else.. so feel free to move this thread to a new home :)
Eban Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 I love the idea of a proper "modular" computer. I'm thinking back to the days of vic-20 and amiga 500/1000...mid 80's  My idea would look more like a bank of expansion port slots or better yet, lego bricks stacked on top of each other and you basically buy each component you want. Just like this mini but desktop size/small form factor.  e.g. Thunderchild // Lenovo Legion Y740 17" i7-9750H rtx2080maxQ win10LTSC RainBird // Alienware 17 (Ranger) i7-4910mq gtx860m win8.1 JunkDog // Desktop Asrock 660M i3-12100F ARC A580 win10LTSC Â

Sounds good to me. I suppose it makes sense to start small, but would certainly be great to see more expansive variants in the future. 1
