kool. although a bit late to the market, still curious to see what the upcoming 990 pro has to offer. i have a feeling thats gonna be the pcie 4.0 drive they "should have" introduced right from the get go, i.e. correcting their "meh" 980 Pro lineup.

So I'm new to this Samsung stuff. Does Magician ever offer more support for OEM drives? I got a couple of SAMSUNG MZVL21T0HCLR-00BL2 in my Legion 5 pro and of course SM won't actually do anything with them.

Finally, does SM really do anything useful in the first place? - like I said, I'm new here

i mostly use SM to check for firmware updates and with new drives if theyre authentic. aside from that, not much!
