cucubits
I don't usually get excited about games this early in their development lifecycle but this one feels different. It may even warrant a topic on its own. https://roadtovostok.com/ "Road to Vostok is a hardcore single-player survival game set in a post-apocalyptic border zone between Finland and Russia. Survive, loot, plan and prepare your way across the Border Zone and enter the Vostok." What's most impressive is that so far all the development was done by one guy. There is already a small playable demo on Steam and I have to say it really hits all the right spots. It looks great, movement just feels right, not too fast, not too clunky. The guns sound good and even the AI looks promising. (hit F1 in game to activate NPC spawner). Hitting shots is satisfying. I spent about 2 hours messing with all the guns and even with this early AI, I keep getting killed from time to time. Check it out, share your thoughts. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1963610/Road_to_Vostok/
cylix
I was looking at this project on YouTube for a while. Really impressive especially that ia made from just one guy! Until now he looks determined to complete it. Hope he succeeds, we need indie development right now when every big game developer is only recycling ideeas 1 Lian Li O11Dynamic EVO MSI MPG B650 Edge Wifi AMD Ryzen 9 7900x Lian Li Galahad 360 V2 Zotac 4090 AMP Extreme Airo 32GB Kingston Renegade RGB Z 6000ghz SSD: Kingston KC3000 2TB, 2x Samsung 970 Evo 1TB Corsair HX1500i Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo
serpro69
Damn this is very impressive for a one-person-operation... I wish there was multiplayer, I like survival games quite a lot, but "surviving with friends" takes it to the next level. I'll still check it out, thanks for the tip @cucubits! 2 Serenity -> Dell Precision 7560Millenium Falcon -> Dell Precision 5530Axiom -> Lenovo ThinkPad P52 (work)Moldy Crow -> Dell XPS 15 9550 Spoiler Millenium Falcon: Dell Precision 5530 i9-8950HK CPU 2x16 GB DDR4 2,666 MHz 1 TB SSD NVIDIA Quadro P2000 UHD 3840 x 2160 Ubuntu 20.04 / Windows 10 LTSCAxiom: Lenovo ThinkPad P52 i7-8850H 2x32 GB DDR4 1 TB SSD NVIDIA Quadro P2000 UHD 3840x2160 Windows 10 Pro

I'm on the other side of this one. There's so many multiplayer games like this, I'm excited to have a single player focused one. 4 [Draupnir] R5 5600X | EVGA 3080 | Asus B550-I Strix | 2 x 16GB 3600@CL16 | 2 x WD SN750 | NZXT H1 V2 w/ Fan Mods [Gungnir] LG Gram 17 | i7-8565U | 16GB | 2 x 512GB SSD [Munnin] MacBook Pro 16 | i9-9980HK | Radeon Pro 5300M | 64GB RAM | 1TB

Steam, gog and uplay (ugh, for FarCry).
