Modify INF and it should work The driver version i used from gigabyte on p106m was also a similar version but is 384.74, that partially worked on that benchmark. seems like something on the new drivers broke functionality with this type of optimus on m6600 or other sandybridge systems for the pascal gpus. 🤔

But DX12 doesn’t work only DX11. on M6600 389.xx driver works but same issue , no dx12 support Alienware m18 : Intel Core i9 13900HX @ 5.0Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 4090 | K1675 | 2x1TB SSDs Alienware Area-51M : Intel Core i9-9900K @ 5.3Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 | AX210 | Samsung 970 Evo+ Alienware M18x R2 : Intel Core i7 3920XM @ 4.7Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 3080 | AX210 | Samsung 980 PRO Alienware 18 : Intel Core i7 4930MX @ 4.5Ghz | nVidia Quadro RTX 5000 | AX210 | Samsung 980 NVMe More Laps: M14x | M14xR2 | M15x (980m) | M17xR2 (RTX 3000) | M17xR3 (WX 7100) | M18xR1 (RTX 5000) BEAST Server: Intel Xeon W7-3465X 28 P-Cores | 2x nVidia RTX Titan | 128GB RDIMM | Intel Optane P5800X CS Studios YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/CSStudiosYT
upandaway
I am so confused. My service tag is 14DVLQ1 and I have a Quadro P4000. The best I can tell I have a LVDS display and I can only get the system to display anything on the first boot (ie clear CMOS every time) but displaying only goes as far as bios and not os. However I can ssh to the system but it doesn't show the card. Every subsequent boot doesn't even show the dell splashscreen. In bios with the new card it shows as "unknown panel". From what I understand P4000 doesn't support LVDS so I am exceedingly dumbfounded on how this is suppose to work (is it?) Intel GPU displays from Nvidia GPU? Given I can't seem to get it to work any input is appreciated, this is very interesting mix and match for a laptop. (Bios is rev A18 and I am fairly confident the GPU is not dead but who knows)

upandaway
Thanks for that info! Somehow I missed it, I've read your other posts and I've gotten the applicable vbois and I'll be ordering a adapter to flash it. Might be a few weeks but it will be fun!
