Indeed. Hard to believe the incredible amount of damage that has occurred--much of it deliberately--in the past 26 months. The question is, how much more of it can we tolerate before it goes off the rails on the point of no return. actually in some seriousness...I remember reading a few years ago .... "they" asked a group of centennials about their biggest regrets in life....a surprising number of them said they wished they had worked less and spent more time with family and friends.

Changed my attitude to work overnight!

LOL. Some of what the swami said is on point, some not. I agree with not working extra for free, turning off work after work, etc. But, I believe in working hard during working hours, playing "hard" (not sure what that means to him, but to me it means thoroughly enjoying playtime) when work is over. If you have a good employer, you reap what you sow. If you work hard and produce good results, your compensation should reflect that. If you have to constantly work extra hours (excluding random spikes in brief periods of busyness) to get the job done, then staffing is an issue and you're being taken advantage of. If you do not have an employer that provides the right work conditions and reward results, then it is probably a clue that it would be prudent to be open to better options.

Nice to see so many former customers taking a stand against their idiotic woke stupidity. I made an immediate decision to personally boycott them as soon as I saw what they did. Looks like lots (probably more than they will survive) decided the same. It's working. Other companies that make similar depraved leftist moron business decisions deserve to die. If Bud Light's demise is not a wake-up call for them, they're next. I wonder who the next casualty of poor judgment will be?

Its clear that the boycott worked. It makes no sense for them trying to cater to a cult that dont even drink their products. Hope the same happens to other companies that gone woke and political for no reason and listen to nutjobs on twitter and other social media sites. Bud Light is a trash beer and i dont drink it, only reason people buy it because its cheap as hell and good for parties without spending too much for a case, but sadly AB also makes some of my favorite beer brands and partners with some favorite craft/local beers...

I don't drink alcohol much and don't care for beer in general, but I really liked having a Chelada Picante a few times a month. I don't care for most of the other brands of Cheladas, but settled on Sol as the replacement. I agree and hope we see more boycotts as damaging, if not more harmful. It's time for the normal majority to stop putting up with crap from the 1.5% bottom feeders that are on a mission to ruin everything decent and right for the 98.5% majority with their depraved, indecent, deviant, abnormal, nonsensical filth.

That's nor completely true. In fact the raw model underlying GPT actually expresses "balanced" opinions based on the vast data it was trained on, which is why it also underwent additional "alignment" training and thus dumbed down by OpenAI to be politically correct, avoid certain topics etc.

Things are already bad in some sense for example: in the social media, criminals can copy your voice etc. The point is to ensure things don't get even worse in the near future (rather than ways off).

Even though the presumed intent is to avoid conflict and controversy, preoccupation with political correctness and avoidance of controversial topics can be an impediment to doing what is right and best because you're burning too many calories on not offending a fringe minority view.  And, that can be a reflection of the programmer. Balance can be good, but sometimes it's not and you need to call the balls and strikes and not fret over who might get huffy about it.

All I'm saying is that ChatGPT is not the underyling model, the underlying model has no human/programmer rules imposed on it.

I am not following what you are referring to, Brother @ryan.

 

I'm loving the prospects for all of the rags coming unraveled on the mentally insane leftys. Besides chimo Brandon and his whoremongering loser druggy son getting their pants pulled down along with those who lied for them. Sleepy Joe's money-laundering family is probably starting to squirm. He's lucky to have dementia bad enough that he won't realize what is happening.

It's also nice to see some possibility for accountability to be coming for the deception, lies and criminal activities that have taken place locally here in my home state.

I just saw the trailer, and of the like two books iv'e read in my lifetime (james and the giant peach and genius) This will be a good movie, but feynman did more for the manhattan project. and of course the formula e=mc squared did more than feynmans work. super pivitol point in history, but what did it bring besides pain and suffering
