I tried to install GTX 980M in AlienwareM17x R2 and this is what it displays on the screen. What can it be, because in Alienware 17 the card works perfectly..?

This is a common problem using GTX 980M in M17xR2. Inverted Colors.

Only way to get past this is so switch to a 6-bit display panel. the 8-bit panel has some conflict with GM2xx series cards.

As I understand it, there is no way to run on this display, do you need another display, or is it possible in the settings?

M5000M should work too.

has to do with quadro having better support for higher bit display
