Based on what I know HDMI 2.1 has enough bandwidth natively to support 4K 144Hz with HDR10 video. Everything above (up to 240Hz in 4K resolution) can really only work with DSC compression and it strongly depends on the hardware used, such as the cable and the HDMI interface controller used in the monitor.

The x170 definitely has the best cooling solution with its massive radiator. In fact, it is very sad to see only all these new models with their bga chips soldered on the board and very mediocre cooling. They definitely have their advantages for those who appreciate mobility, more slim design but I just can't bring myself to love something like that. There is also probably no hope that we will ever see at least some of the new series of video cards in mxm format from Clevo. That would be great too actually, and I keep waiting for a miracle.

What exactly do you mean by radiator modifications for handling a combined load of 440 wats and do I understand correctly that this may be applicable to the x170km model as well?

The newest ones 4K MiniLED I know at the moment are: AUO B173ZAN06.6 (120Hz, 512 zones) AUO B173ZAN06.A (120Hz, 512 zones) AUO B173ZAN06.C (144Hz, 1008 zones)

@giltheone It was very exciting to read your purchase way. What are your impressions of the device now as a whole and have you encountered any of the problems associated with sudden shutdowns or reboots while the laptop is running under medium and high load, or is everything working stably in this regard ?
